My friend bought a Hookah device and they smoke it all day. They said there is no nicotine in the tobacco they use. Could that be true?

It is not true. Nicotine is in the tobacco plant. It is in all tobacco. Plus a hookah isn't filtered so it would be worse than smoking a filtered cigarette. Your friends aren't very smart.
There's no safe tobacco alternative that doesn't increase your risk of cancer.

specially smoking is ingerous to health
but i dont know which kind of hookah u r tlking abt??
i know 1 indian hookah ....and its safe then cigarate
cuz the flue gas pass through the water in bottam and hve 1 cloth as a filter......so may be nicotine disolved in water and its less harmful

the safe alternative is to QUIT use your will power i did it myself it wasnt easy but i did it, any smoke is bad regardless of whether theres nicotine or not
