If a person lives their life in a good way and helps others BUT does not beleive in God, do you think that person will go to hell?
If the person has no problem with drinking alcohol and occasional drugs, but they give to homeless, help others, travel the world to help build homes for less fortunate, etc... are they still going to Hell?

And what about people that are not exposed to the bible. Are they doomed as well. Even the severely mentally challenged who wouldn't have no idea?

I only wanted answers from religious people because I want their opinion.. Chances are that if you aren't religious, you wouldn't care.

"If a person lives their life in a good way and helps others BUT does not beleive in God, do you think that person will go to hell?"
I'm a Hindu, there is no hell. Their physical body will die and the spiritual body will enter heaven. Eventually the spiritual body will die and the Atman will reincarnate. Their actions in life to help build up good karma that plays out both in this lifetime and in the next.
"If the person has no problem with drinking alcohol and occasional drugs, but they give to homeless, help others, travel the world to help build homes for less fortunate, etc... are they still going to Hell?"
Again, Hindus don't believe there is a hell. Doing good for others builds good karma which plays out both in this lifetime and in the next lifetime.
"And what about religious people.. If they accept Jesus but since more than other non beleivers, are they saved?"
Saved? Well, if Jesus is their ishta devata (personal name and form of God) then this the form that your consciousness will project God in heaven. But heaven is just a temporary state and we will incarnate again. Only moksha frees us from the samsara (cycle of birth and death and birth) and reunites us with our source (God). Hindus say that to achieve moksha means to completely focus your mind on God (the easiest way is by chanting the divine name over and over and over). That what we think of throughout our life and most especially at the time of our death, this is where we go. The Bhagavad Gita makes it clear "Dwell your mind on me and upon the hour of death if your mind is fixed on me you shall come to me." Whatever religion you follow, there is only one God and if you focus your mind on that that is where you will go.
"And what about people that are not exposed to the bible. Are they doomed as well. Even the severely mentally challenged who wouldn't have no idea?"
Nope. Hinduism is tolerant of all religions because all of them have within them the universal truths of the innate nature of the inner Self. Even a mentally challenged person can simply keep their mind focused on God's name and think of God in some way. There is a wise Hindu teacher that said "even a mother who devotes her entire life to being a good mother and sees her child as God, even she will go to God." What religion you are is not important as far as Hinduism is concerned. Religion is merely a tool to reach spiritual goals. Every religion merely offers a different finite perspective on the Infinite One.
Hindus say that the entire universe manifested out of God. It came out of God. That everything in the universe contains within it the Divine spark connecting it back to it's source, God. Thus there is no way that anything in the universe can seperate itself from God. And Hindus firmly believe that there is no way a person could be so bad and produce so much bad karma that they would ever lose God's grace to help them find their way back to God (regardless of how many lifetimes it may take).

I don't think they will go to hell, but they still must aknowledge the MOST HIGH.There were plenty of people through out time that were very righteous.Doing virtuous deeds not to be seen, but it was just the correct thing to do.But even then GOD came to them and told them to aknowledge HIS true self.It is not just about doing righteous deeds of charity.Because if GOD really wanted, he could do that himself. This is the true test to the will of man.for your will and HIS/HER/ITs is not the same. There is no comparison, but likeness from grace from his true self. For example in the bible. All of those people were GOD's chosen people, but why were all of thier faiths tested. And these were THE GOD's chosen friends.Job(pbuh) I am more than sure was one of the most righteous men that existed on this earth amongst GOD's millions that HE prefered above many. And do not think for one second GOD does not favor some amongst others. If you do not accept this, then WHO IS REALLY JEALOUS?but Job(pbuh) used to offer prayers on the daily and could have been the most righteous amongst the men of that time. But still, THE GOD took away his family and turned him leper. And if this is what GOD does to people HE likes, imagine what HIS true plan is for those HE dislikes. And you can not conjecture THE MOST HIGH does not have fealings. How is it we can have fealings, but HE can not?The only difference is the strenghth amongst it and we are the ones who suffer. Not HIM.The character of man is something unique. And you can take Noah(pbuh) for another example. He is known for being a drunk. This is just what I conjecture and I purely don't know.If he was a drunk, THE GOD still chose him.And as mighty as the men were, he was the one chosen, not believed, and mocked.I have read this one thing in the bible that has always stuck with me.I don't know what it exactly said but it was a moral truth that can not be denied. It was around the premise that the more you read, the more you get confined to the judgement. And some will look to that as a bad thing, but not me.Because I don't know the true wisdom of THE MOST HIGH.Imagine this.In the hereafter, the world that the diligent shall enter is filled with highly religous learned men of all sects of the world. But shall all have one notion of PEACE that is fluent amongst all.Just not taken heed to.That there is NO GOD BUT GOD.Where you can have the privelege to discuss reason of conflict on this earth. From one life to the next. And there, you would have a high probability of coming accross a person described in your question. But after accepting the faith THE MOST HIGH granted for him, he became of the perfected. To the grace of GOD.And if not.My GOD is allah, and I don't know what HE/SHE/IT has planned for that individual.Maybe THE GOD saved him or her for a different purpose. In the quran it says"allah knows what all knows not".And I accept that word of truth and try not to out think my lord. So, I analyse and come to conclusions like this.PEACE(SALAM)

Not sure. It's difficult to say how G-d makes such calculations.
However, the good the person did will not be unrewarded.
It would seem that not believing in G-d would be a big problem, possibly the worst sin. Big barrier to entrance into heaven.
regarding drinking etc... -- those aren't good, but I doubt they'd prevent someone from going to heaven.

that's a very good question that needs a serious answer, so here it is. sorry but yes, u will go to hell if you don't beleive in God, but better yet Jesus. The Bible says that u have to beleive that Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins. Anything else is a one-way ticket to hell. So my advice to u is either; get faithful, or drink up. I am being completely serious here. This is from a hard core Christian.

The first person who you say lives a good life, is not in fact living a GOOD life. He/She has received blessing after blessing after blessing and never shown any gratitude to the giver. If this person does not even believe that God exist, then how could they believe heaven exist? Furthermore, to determine what a good life is we have to know whether or not we fulfilled our purpose. And of course, to do that we must know what our purpose is. It is to bring glory to God. Now the person you described above, is quite obviously not serving his purpose because he has not even acknowledged his creator's existence. All the nice things he has done, will not earn his way into heaven.
If at any point in his life he decides to repent and obey Jesus, he will be welcomed. Even if he has been a horrible sinner he will still be welcomed. Whatever sin he has committed were committed against God. Jesus paid the price. So he will be welcome

There are alot of people who do good things but donot believe in God, they need to see the proof with their own eyes. Well, you can't see the wind, but you can feel it. Keep doing the good things you are doing, apparantly you are wondering about God if you have questions about Hell, even if you have never prayed to him, pray to him to help you understand. someone once told me this "If a watch has a maker, don't you think we do too?" while you are pondering the question read Acts 8 it talks about a man named Eunuch whom pondered the same question. (May God guide you, and may Jesus be the light that leads the way.)

If you do good things to get into heaven, you will be disappointed by your reward. Humility is a virtue you know. But on that note, if you do good things for the world WHILE spreading the word of Christ our Lord, he shall favour you at judgement.
No one knows what will become, however, the greatest reward is knowing that you've made a difference in the world. So if you live your life in the way of Christ, and at judgement you are condemned, know that it is God's will and accept it, as it is the best accord for you in His plan.

Theoretically speaking,
if you don't believe in God,
why are you asking?
The answer to your question is found within the other text.
I personally believe that when you die you will be met by Jesus and he will ask you if you believe he Is the son of God.
He already knows all about your life.
You will then proceed to the next level.
I don't know what that is...
Try reading the five people you meet in heaven.
We are not to judge one another.
That is perfectly clear in the Bible.
The only one who knows the answer to your question is you.
Search within yourself.
Peace, joy, Love!!

Christ is the final judge - not my call.
According to His Word, yes, they're going to hell.
All the good works one can possibly do in their lifetime isn't worth a damn when it comes to salvation.
Isaiah 64:6 says all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags;
Ephesians chapter 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Based on the bible, yes. According to the bible, only faith in Jesus Christ will get you into heaven. We cannot live a "good enough" life to live up to God's standards of perfection.
