Why has the noggin "the-n.com" channel turned into HBO??

I like watching the fresh prince of bell air, and the commercials come one with previews of shows like "degrassi" and they show boys kissing eachother, kids having sex, and things that kids should not be seeing. and also it is only rated PG. I think that is disgusting. what has kids show come to?? they are just teaching kids to have sex, and sin. does anyone feel the same way i do??

You're completely wrong and you would know that if you had ever actually seen Degrassi and not just judged it on the commercials.

Degrassi does talk about intense issues - but issues that high school aged kids are really dealing with. The show is not teaching kids to have sex and 'sin', the show is actually very moral.

OMG! I know! I was going to ask the same question because I was watching cartoons with my kids one day on that channel, and the noggin programming stops at 6 pm. I didnt know that and kept the tv on on that channel for a while and saw a preview of a show where there were two teen girls that were going to kiss and I WAS SHOCKED! My girls are 2 and 5 and I'm always concerned about what they watch. If this is the kind of shows that teens watch nowadays, I dont want to imagine how much morality will still be left when my daughters are teens.
I just dont understand how a channel tha t presents so much quality and educational shows and cartoons during the day, can present this kind of programming at night.
Just dont watch it! Because we won't either.

lol becuase obiously the shush eveything is ok appoch of the 50 didnt work to well. get over it , this is a new age of individuality thats all the show is teaching. all they show is kissiny they imply sex yes, but they dont show boobs everywhere like half the other shows they could watch. it helps kids identifly and if you dont liek it dont watch. and dont have your kid watch and when you tell them not to they will want to even more. and when they get introuble for it then they will go out and do it. just to piss you off. so get tolerent. and sinning is a storybook idea to keep you from pissing youself.

Your question is resembling the on-going conflict between "salvation" and "works" it is what separates an outstanding many sects of Christianity. yet what separates "believers" from "non-believers" as far as transferring into Heaven is that BELIEVERS experience that they have EARNED it and would not opt to percentage it with someone who did not. in an attempt to respond to your question it is that "earning" heaven both with the aid of works, salvation, or both that makes Heaven an unique club for believers. what's the point in having religions if anybody can get into the country club?

Those shows are shown later in the evening for older audiences. The kiddie shows are show during the day for children.

It hasnt changed to HBO. Check with your cable company they probably changed the channel line up.

i agree with u i dont think the intention was to be disgusting and imoral but to teach tolerance for diff types of pple and instead its become the tube of the vast wasteland... i dunno what to say expect speak out write letters and e mails bec otherwise thses pple dont care its what sells is all that matters to them. sincerely...
