I don't think it's a matter of Christian lives being more valuable than Muslim lives. I think it's a matter of survival. Honestly. beyond 911 look at the destruction that the Muslim world is wreaking upon the rest of the world. Not all Muslims are that way, but the fanatics that are, are causing much harm. Look at the train bombings in Spain. Look at the latest plan that was hopefully foiled. In any conflict, there are casualities. It is unfortunate. In WW2, there were casualities. If that war were to be fought today, would we still have the same outcome based upon the philosophy of people who live in the US?

Theoretically, all God's children have equal value in His eyes.
Unfortunately, radical Islam is forcing me to make a choice. Do they die, or me? If a group of people has declared publicly and repeatedly that I and my countrymen must die, then let's choose up sides and get to it.
You want us to get along and play nice? Right here, in this forum, admit to one and all that severing off a Jew's head with a small, dull knife and shouting "Allah Akbar!" repeatedly might be just a little over the top.
As much as I would like this to be a religious issue, it is, in fact a much more practical matter. One side will be left standing. I suspect that makes us enemies, at least until the smoke clears.

I for one have never considered my life more valuable than any other person's. I also have never made a bad comment on anyone from Iraq nor have I blamed innocent people in Iraq for what a handful of people did! That's just disturbing Hon.

My life is personally far more valuable to me than anyone else's, with the exception of my family, no matter who they are. However, death of others is always sanitized by a combination of distance and no knowledge of who the person dying was.
The problem with world media and reporting is we are made to feel for people who in the past would have disappeared from this world without our even knowing. In addition every disaster, no matter how insignificant in numeric terms the deaths are, is given prominence whilst other more numerous killers on our doorsteps such as motor vehicle accidents, smoking and death due to economic reasons (no health care, inadequate housing, poor diet) rarely merit a full stop on the back page.
In reality, th three biggest killers today are Lower respiratory infections, Diarrhoeal disease and Perinatal conditions. By 2020 (Wiki reference) the three biggest world killers will be Ischaemic heart disease, Unipolar major depression and Road traffic injuries. War doesn't even feature in the top ten and only scores in at a pitiful number 8 even in 2020.
The real war and the lives destroyed by US policies is nothing to do with armed conflict, but the resistance of the developed world to truly share resources, knowledge and adequate support against disease and ignorance. Even car deaths are a result of economic disparity, with more deaths occurring statistically in countries with worse road infrastructures, inferior vehicles and inadequate driver education, all symptoms of economic plight.

Do Muslims think their lives more valuable than Christians?
What specific US polices destroyed millions of (I assume) Muslims' lives?
How has this destruction taken place?
I don't recall any US Christians taking Muslim hostages, bombing Muslim embassies, High-jacking Muslim conveyances, or beheading Muslims in general.
I find it troubling that some of the highest oil producing "Muslim" nations receiving extremely high financial dividends for their product also have some of the highest populations of poverty stricken citizens of any other nations in the world. Is this due to those alleged "US polices" or more to the internal polices of tyrannical Muslim leaders?

Today 24 people were arrested trying to board planes to set off explosions and kill people. They were Muslims not Christians.
You're a jerk.
Death to Islam. Genocide. We must WIPE OUT all of these AHs. It is more clear than ever. Christians do not board planes to bring them down. Islamics DO and that is a FACT and we know who you are and where you are because the American Homeland Security and Yahoo joined together, so expect YOUR HOUSE to be raided and YOUR computer to be confiscated because YOU are a supporter of horrible TERRORISTS ISLAMICS
And have a nice day.

"For God so loved the world...."
That is everyone, Muslims,Christians,Catholics,Jews, and yes...even atheists.
But let me tell you Mr. Atheist....there are no atheists in Hell. If you are a true Atheist, I would really do some searching...not to prove your theory right. You already think it is. But before I rested on any belief that many believe will land me in Hell, burning for eternity...I would make sure that there is no chance they are correct. It is just too big a gamble to not exhaust every possibility.

All lives are equally valuable, although we deny this when we wave a flag and pretend that the people in our country are more valuable than the people in some other country.

All life has value to God... islam is the enemy to God... it is a deception of satan. but the individuals who are so decieved can stiil find their way to God Through The Way He proscribes and they too can receive God's free gift of Salvation...IF...they do as God decrees.
Th US has in no way killed anywhere near as many people, in the last 230 yrs the US has been around, as has the genocidlal law if islam Islam is an evil that must be exterminated...NOTE, I said islam... not the poor deceived souls islam enslaves... unlike islam which calls for the extermination of every man, woman, and child of the Jews and Christians....

No. I am a follower of Christ and believe that in God's sight, I am just as special as any other person. Genesis 1.27: ..."in the image of God He created them." We are made in the image of the Creator, the King of Glory, the Savior. We have value because HE created us, not because of anything that comes from ourselves. As one who follows God, I get my identity from Him, and it's an amazing thing. No longer shall I worry about what others think of me.... it's so freeing to know that I don't have to work for God to value me, He just does.
