Women are taught from a young age that they are supposed to be married. Well, at least that's what we were taught when I was a kid. Now these days most people just live together instead of getting married.
I'm 40, widowed for 10 years, been there...done that. I've done what was expected...I don't care for marriage again. I'd much rather live together. It's easier than getting trapped in a bad marriage. (Late husband was abuisve)
A lot of women think that if a man doesn't want to marry them, then the man isn't serious about the relationship.

Me, personally, I have been married a couple of times. When I was growing up, living together was looked upon as being nasty. "Shacking" It just was not allowed. I was always taught to be married. But, on the flip side marriage has not been a strong point for me. I will live with the next one I get for a loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggg time before, or if I ever consider marriage.

Maybe there are things to be considered first before getting married. Talk to each other.. The best way is get the opinion of each other. But for the girls, we want to get married before living together. It's once in a lifetime, and it is achievements for us.
