I am a saved christian. I feel the holy spirit of God working in my life everyday. I see people everyday go about their lives like they want. What I want to ask is a hypothetical question to those who don't believe in God and a real question to those who do believe in God. What are we as a society going to do when one day a trumpet sounds and the biblical Lord our Saviour comes back and all of those who accepted him into their lives go to heaven with him, and all of those who denied his existence and denied him into their lives are left in the time of tribulation for the devil? Just hypotetically, what would YOU do if you know that were going to happen? Would you still deny God's love?

Jesus continued the general priesthood of the Israelites, and the Levitical Priesthood of Aaron. See in the Bible the difference between the two gifts to the Christian community.

For the elders of the community. Acts 20:28, Lk 22:19, Acts 6:6, Acts 13:3, Acts 14:22, 1 Tim 4:14, 2 Tim 1:6, Tit 1:5 to name a few references of the laying on of hands to anoint directly from the Apostles which were anointed by Jesus.

Jesus chose the method of His successors in Jn15:16, Jn 20:21, Lk 22:29-30 Mt 16:18, Jn 10:16 Lk 22:32, Jn 21:17 Eph 4:11, and most particularly 1 Tim 3:1, 8, 5:17

Jesus also established and Authoritative Church, not a loose group of self interpreting associations. See Mt 28:18-20, Jn 20:23, 1Cor 11:23-24, Lk 10:16, Mt 18:17-18, Mt 16:19.

Jesus established One Body, One Faith.

Are you worried? Because if you are trying to make sure you go to heaven, then that is a sure fire way to do it.

Are you worried about the people? So concerned about others that you are going and they are not, give me a brake!

so you are a "Saved christian" That's great, Got the free pass to go on in, that's just wonderful.

I know a Jehovah's Witness that is one of the 144000 chosen. That's just wonderful.

Lets see, you believe in GOD, your saved, and hypothetically asking what would I do, when the Horn blows and you and I are left behind? Oops Did I say you and I? yep I forgot your going because your- saved, and Iam not. When we are standing side by side before the devil himself, I will ask you how do you feel.

Just hypothetically speaking of course. Good Luck , Dave

I think we should think about the people we want to be with forever. I recently started to think about what Heaven would be like without my best friend and her family. As of right now she is not saved. I feel like I need to do more to show her how the Lord has helped me and in turn she will accept Him into her heart. We do not have forever on this earth, that was never promised...but we do have forever somewhere else and it is up to us where that is. We can focus on the way people live their lives, the things they do that are unGodly...but why, why not be forgiving and loving and say you know what "heaven wont be the same without you"...to everyone we know and meet. People are complex, we are in no way perfect, but we have a destiny and a purpose and realizing our purpose on this earth should be the focus. God Bless.

human nature, being that i have been to churches where the preacher knew absolutely nothing about the bible or the holy ghost and seeing homeless people on the street be filled with the Holy ghost, I know it's all a matter of anointing.

but the key to people gaining confidence in you as a spiritual ad visor of some sort is none other than

"Study and show your self approved"

Have you ever read the left behind series. Well my suggestion to you is go find the books there are like 13, read them in order, then you will see what those people did that where left behind. Makes for interesting reading.

I believe in these things coming to pass spiritually, but disbelieve in them as literal events. Revelations is a totally spiritual and symbolic book, the events are to be taken that way.

What if God gives us His revelation in stages, again and again and again? What would you do if you, like the Jews who rejected Jesus because they did not recognize the very Messiah they prayed for... what would you do if you missed the boat too???

The day that someone begins supernaturally raising people from the grave, that is the day that I will no longer consider myself an atheist.

But, until then, I'll continue to ignore people who offer rewards or threats as an incentive to believe in fairy tales.

A. more people would listen to preacher than to you.

B. if the Judgement day comes, I'll repent.
Untill then, I'll rely on my brains rather than a 2000-year old book.

What is the difference in me saying something and a preacher saying something?

He would have a paper saying he is qualified to preach. He has some credentials.

What do you have?

It is said in Rev that they who do not accept Christ in those hours will call out to the mountains to cover them!
