I have been exercising for over a month now, and eating more healthy (not perfect, but its not cheeseburgers 3 times a day!). I work out on the elliptical machine every night for 30 mins and then various resistance machines afterwards depending on the day (arms and shoulders on Monday, Chest on Tuesday, etc etc.). I am 5'8" and 155lbs. Im a 33 year old male. My question is, even though im eating better and exercising, my weight isnt dropping. I know im not obese or anything, but id like to be down to about 140-145, However, my weight fluctuates between 150 and 155. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like a good weight to me :) but if you want to drop more weight you need to eat less... ( sucks i know ) and build muscle. Aerobic exercise just burns fat while you are doing the exercise, building muscle makes fat eating machines that work all day. I curb my hunger by chewing lots and lots of gum.

Even if you are eating healthier, you still may be eating too much. Eat smaller portions, or better yet, write down everything you eat so you can be aware of what the problem is. Your weight seems quite normal. You might try drinking more water to give you a full feeling without adding calories. Don't give up.

Your work-out sounds awesome. Maybe you should re-eavluate your eating plan. You may be eating to many carbohydrates that includes fruit as well. I say stay away from white carbs ALL together and only eat green vegetables. Eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours to speed up your metabolism and you should be able to drop the last few lbs. Also, you may need to changes your work-out your body may be used to it and you need something NEW.
