Pyrex very easy to clean. I always have very hot, soapy water in sink to soak used dishes when I am cooking, when you are done baking, remove the food and soak for awhile, with Pyrex usually only need to soak until after dinner. If that doesn't work try the new "magic erasers" by Mr. Clean. A really good product.

Oops, that should read, remove the food from the dish and soak the dish for awhile. Was in Walgreens yesterday, they have the "Mr. Clean Magic Erasers" on sale. Peace.

you can try vinegar and/or baking soda. i've found them both to be pretty helpful in similar situations. if you're going for the baking soda, it might be advantageous to make a paste using it and the vinegar. apply it liberally to the brown build up and wait a bit. (5-10 minutes) try scrubbing the area without rinsing the paste off and see if you're getting any results. if the build up starts to loosen, rinse and see if you need to do this again.

it's actually less labour intensive than it seems, and it usually does work. this whole process is mostly helpful if you're looking for a natural approach.

hm. longwinded. sorry.

Put them on the heat until they're nice and hot, then spray them (in a properly venalated area, I do it outside) with oven cleaner. The stuff with caustic soda. Leave it for as long as you can really. Wear gloves when you scrub it, this stuff is nasty, but it is the only thing designed to get the inside if ovens clean, so it works

Boiling vinegar STINKS !!! Go to the store and get a small box of TSP (Trisodium Phosphate). It's very cheap. Follow the instructions on the box. This also works great to get burned coffee off the bottom of the pot.

Get some denture cleaning tablets and put them in the pyrex dish filled with water to cover the stains.

or go to grease bullet tablets

try some vinegar or baking soda...then scrub off with a good sponge, like scotch brite. steel wool and barkeeper's friend(found on the bottom of the shelf at most stores, next to comet) also works like magic. :-)

Bake a nice cake in it, and give the cake to a friend who has spotless pans, she will return it clean!

Soak the stuff in soapy water overnight and use a rough and tough cloth to rub off that stuff.

Spray it with my favorite, 409, let it sit for 10 minutes and with a non-scratch scraper, it should come off.
