One is very different from the other. God is smarter than everyone else, combined. Maybe the reason you're not getting the person you want is because there's another for you. Patience is a virtue.

Take care of you, find your interests. If it's supposed it be, it will happen. You just don't get a vote in when or why.

Take responsibility for your life. You alone can make your life right. Otherwise, only "good god-fearing folks" would have good things happen to them and vice versa. We all know that's not true.

What is true is that you exist, and can think for yourself. So do something with is and don't wait on an imaginary daddy in the sky to do it for you. Even if he does exist, he'll appreciate the effort you put in, no?

yeah, keep it real. that'll get you back in contact with your GF. OR pick up a phone and call. that's what I would do myself. but I'm sure if you pray you can probably save yourself the long distance charges that way

Look at it this way...your god can, and will, squish people like a cockroach and not think twice about it. Your feelings have nothing to do with his decision to take someone out. "It's his will." "It's in his hands." There ya have it.
