How could it not be the last days? We are seeing everything Jesus told us to look for in his sermon on the mount. Things are far worse now than I would have imagined 10 yrs. ago and steady going down hill. (on a bicycle) How would we survive?

The end of the world has been predicted by numerous religions numerous times, including by christians from 90ad onwards. When it doesn't occur it usually gets changed for a later date. When that passes....

So do I think will humans survive the next 100 years? With the exception of an extinction event on a cosmic scale, the answer is definitely yes, of course they will.

Do I think the theists will be predicting the end of the world in 100 years? The answer is I hope not, but I fear they still will be and the majority of predictions will still unfortunately be based on medieval and pre-medieval concepts of divine retribution and "the return of the savior".

God will destroy those who are willfully wicked, but the earth will remain forever, along with all faithful ones who put their trust in God's Kingdom. We are indeed living in the last days and have been since 1914 when world war 1 began. The world has not been the same since that time. We are very close to seeing Gods war against the wicked. There will be survivors and they will have the hope of living forever on earth.

Oh woe is me! The same hand wringing occured before WWI and WWII. Welcome to WWIII. The only thing you need worry about is whether or not Iran will use the nukes it is building. Even if it doesn't have nuclear weapons per se, the missiles it just purchased from Russia could be used to deliver dirty bombs throughout the Middle East and Europe. I think the brown stuff is about to hit the fan, but we're the ones that are going to be doing the tossing. I think Islamic facism is in its last days.

According to the bible, the tribulation has to start within the generation of Israel becoming a nation again, that was 1948, and a biblical generation is 70 years, so we've got anytime between now and 2018 for it to start, so no, we won't be around another 100 years.

Each generation thinks that the world will end while they are still alive. It has not and it will not end in your time either.

The world will end when some nutty Christian builds or buys an atomic bomb and sets it off to force God/Jesus to come.

Until then keep your fingers cross that the nut isn't Bush.

We're seeing everything we want to see for just that reason: we want to see it. It's the power of suggestion.

It's not the last days. You're going to be fine.
