I'm 13 and i haven't drank yet nor will i ever (hopefully) lol regardless i have a friend who has gotten drunk and she's my age (3 months older). and it's really sad because she TELLS ME about it the next time i see her! my dad was like always drunk when i was over at his house. but that just made me and my half brother closer. we would go into the back room and just talk and wrestle (don't think like that! lol jk) I'd pin him a few times then we would go get something to eat. BYE!

Age 15 or 16, at home. My parents stated that if I wanted to try alcohol that was fine, but they wanted me to do it at home so they could make sure I was safe. It sort of took the "glamour" out of it.
Now I almost never drink. Not only is the stuff so expensive I feel like I'm taking food out of my family's mouth if I buy it, but I need to stay sharp so I can take care of my baby. Also, I don't want him to grow up the way I did.
My folks always, always, always had plenty of money for alcohol, but they didn't have money for unimportant stuff like dental visits, eyeglasses, and new clothing. If I got sick and had to go to the doctor I got chewed out, but the top of the fridge was full of bottles of booze. Any entertainment had to include alcohol or it was judged a waste of time, and if I dared to ask whether people should be driving after drinking so much, I got a bunch of excuses. I wasn't allowed to opt out of riding with them, though.
I'm darned if my own kid is going to go without because of my drinking or grow up thinking I value him less than my drinking habit.
Sorry for the rant.

3 my parents kitchen. Started drinking regularly at 6 when they decided to have me bartend (they thought I was young enough to not drink) For some reason they were surprised when I crawled home drunk on my 12th birthday (I can still hear my brother as mom is beating me, "She can't feel it mom, wait until she's sober"). That was the year I started smoking
I quit drinking at 22 when I got pregnant with my first child
