With out changing what I eat and going extreme I need to lose 5lbs. I live on a busy street so walking is not an option.

Rather than changing what you eat, change how much you eat at each meal. Try to use only a little sauce or gravy on your food, avoid buttering bread or biscuts (actually avoid these for awhile if you can). Rather than eating a huge piece of meat, eat a portion the size of a deck of cards.

Dance to your favorite music in your room. Dancing is great at burning calories - just make sure you really get moving around. See if there is a fun hip-hop aerobics class on tv you can workout too. if you have stairs, run up and down the stairs until your legs get tired. Jump rope...that one is great because its fun, and you can really get working without needing a bunch of equipment.

Reduce or eliminate snack foods, sodas and white bread. Do not eat foods high in processed sugars -, cookies, candies etc. Eat only when hungry, four small meals a day, not when bored, sad or angry. If you want a chip eat a chip but do not hold the bag - put a small portion in a (small) bowl, walk away from the bag, eat you bowl of chips slowly to really enjoy. Do you really need to lose 5 lbs or is your body maturing and you need to buy some new cloths. Regardless good eating habits will keep your figure well into your mature years.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Hunnie it's only 5 lbs. you can actually lose that in a week. Just drink more water and do not eat any white carbohydrates. Stick to the green vegetables. Do some calisthetcis.

While watching tv do some stregth training to increase your metabolism, cardio, and eat healthy. If you have a craving distract yourself because they only last for about 2 minutes!

Cut ALL pop even diet out and drink lots of water. You would be surprised what weight pop keeps on you. The sodium makes you retain fluid.

why don't you just change what you eat? eat smaller portions...if you really NEED to, you will do what you can...and if you can't walk or exercise...eat less and eat smart
