Caffeinated drinks are actually more likely to make you feel tired and cranky, it's essentially come down, you reduce caffeine during the day you will find you have more energy towards the end of the day.
It's not just weight gain or teeth damage either, such drinks are also bad because carbonation depletes calcium stores, sugars harm your immune system and diet sodas contain ingredients linked with cancer, so bare that in mind in quitting as well.
There are a few drinks out now that are carbonated but made from fruit juices and water, you may want to try drinking those to wean yourself off the soda. A lot of water is of course best of all, maybe with some lemon juice to make it taste a little better and the more water you drink the more it turns into a habit – fizzy water might also trick you into thinking you are still drinking soda. If you are craving sweetness fruit juice or alternatively fruity teas might be a good idea too. If you need the caffeine fix then go for tea, or iced tea – yes it still has sugar but the point is that it is different from soda so again tricking yourself into thinking you are drinking sodas when you are not.
Another good idea may be to get yourself some of the soda stream syrups as well, either into actual soda stream zapped water, or just into plain water, just reduce the syrup amount you are putting in and the carbonation in the water too over time, again, another idea to wean yourself off the sodas.
It is believed that it takes 21 days for something to become habit, treat coming off the soda like a bad habit you are trying to kick, give yourself those 21 days and if you make it that long you have kicked that old habit and took on the new one of drinking more healthy beverages.

Slowly ween yourself of the soda so you dont get the caffeine withdrawl headaches and what not i think wal mart has some clearly something or other they are fizzy and sugar and caffeine free. Then just start drinking juices and tons of water i stopped drinking soda for about 8 months and lost almost 20 pound but then i kind of was off and on trying to steer clear of them still.

Tea! I drink Iced Tea! It does have caffeine. That cranky feeling is caused by those fizzy drinks, not to mention : it causes gas too. I quit drinking soda too , to loose weight . It totally helped! I still have some to lose, but I feel so much better without the soda!

You need to slowly wean yourself off the caffeine and fizzy drinks or else you will have a massive withdrawal headache. Try herbal tea, or green tea. The tiredness and crankiness is because you are addicted to caffeine and need your "fix". Water and juice are two substitutes. If you still want fizz, try ginger ale or another non-cafeine fizzy drink.

Pro Plus caffeine pills are the best option. You take two at a time every few hours.
As I like coffee, it's great to make an espresso and grind Pro Plus pills into it. I call this wonderful creation The Caffeinator.

properly, that is not any longer the "fizzy" area that outline the team of drinks that you would possibly want to steer away from, quite with weight help targets. that is "sugary" drinks that spell disaster. that incorporates no longer in hardship-free words soda, yet also juices, starbucks espresso, etc. that is going to scale back a tremendous variety of energy out of your day in case you replace this sugary garbage with water or eco-friendly tea. one hundred% juices are a perpetrator besides, verify the sugar content textile in a serving, that is as undesirable as soda and also you do not even get each and every of the nutrient in a commonplace piece of fruit because some are cooked out in the course of the pasteurization procedure. reducing this stuff out of your weight help application can help immensely.
