i've heard this before, but i don't believe it's true. my hubby has been over to iraq twice so far, and both times he has seen a starbucks at his camp(believe it or not they actually have things like pizza hut and burger kind at the main camps! it's really great).
so don't worry. also, starbucks is seen at almost every post you go to. our troops are definitely supplied with as much coffee they need or want. :-)

This suprises me, and I don't know that its true. I know they donate really good unsold coffee and pastries to our local food bank. I would not accept this as gospel, but would contact the management. They are certainly making an over the top profit on what they sell, which is why I don't go there and hang out with the mall crawling yuppies or whatever the "in crowd" is called these days.

The cost fuel and the fact that Starbucks is not doing as well as they would like might have something to do with this. Check out http://www.ibooyah.com analysis of Starbucks.

I think there is probably a good reason they stopped, but boycotting them just because of this is a bit too much.
