I wouldnt worry unless your cheeks sag to your t*ts and your t*ts sag to your knees and your @$$ sags to the floor! Then thats when you'll look like Granny.

Not to worry. Everyone has a few grey hairs before the age of 25.
The likelihood of you getting loads at such a young age is nil.

When I was 24 I pulled my first grey hair out, and was promptly advised not to do so again. The age old falacy was of course that for every grey hair pulled out two grow in its place.

This is false only one would grow in its place and only then if my glands failed to produce melatonin, this is what carries your natural hair colouring.

So don't worry unless you have some young grey haired aunties and uncles in the family, it will be awhile before you are grey.

Ok stupid question but are you blonde? If so, its perfectly normal and nothing to do with aging. If not, it still could possibly be a shade of blonde and you are just being paranoid. Or sometimes the colour of your hair makes it look white rather than blonde. Also, stop panicing, nobodys going to examine your head with a magnifying glass, which is probably what you would need to cee these white hairs. Unless you have a lice test or something coming up...

Lol.... First calm down, this is actually fairly normal. It could take years before you really get gray. For now, just pluck 'em if you find one or two. And don't believe people who say "if you pluck one, two will grow in its place." That's an old wive's tale and totally not true! And if you really want a change, why not try a new hair color? You could cover up the gray and get a color boost too! You might really love it, and feel much more confident ;)

My husband was pretty gray by the time we met when he was 30; now he's almost all gray at 48. I, on the other hand, am 38 and I've found a few, but I bet less than 20. It's in your genes, unfortunately. Look at your parents, particularly your mother, and you'll get an idea of what's going to happen to you.

Cause of greying of hair is unknown.

Among Males:

Some lose hair before it turns grey. Some grey before they lose. Some get grey hair on their face before the hair on their head turns grey. Some get grey hair on their sideburns first.

Inquire with your parents if they got grey hair at a young age - might be genetic

Use a good quality dye and do not stinge and delay the retouches. Nothing can be more uncaring as white hair at the roots!

Dont worry you got a long way to go. I knew a guy in High School who was 17 and completly gray. I am 27 and have three gray hairs, but I dont worry. I would rather them to turn gray than turn loose! Dont pull them out for every one you pull two gray ones will grow back.

Age doesn't have everything to do with when you get gray hair, I went to school with someone who started getting grays at 15. You might not go completely white for a really long time. It's easy to cover.

It's all in genetics, you may not look like granny for a long time. If it's only a few, no one probably notices it. But, you can color it if it bothers you.

I found a grey hair 6 months ago. I am 25. No more since then... but that one may have opened the floodgates...
