He should be ok, but if he starts acting strange or sick, go to the ER.

if he begins to act funny, such as being overly tired, nauseous, vomiting, rash breaking out...i would take him to the doctor. otherwise, since youre not sure if he took the zoloft or not, i would just wait and see. if he doesnt begin to get ill or if he doesnt begin to exhibit any of the symptoms listed above, then i would just leave things be. i would begin to worry if he began acting funny because then you would know that he has perhaps taken something. if youre really concerned, you can take him to the ER and have the docs run some tests on him, but it might be a waste since youre not for sure that he did take the meds.

Depending on how old is your son you should have taken him to the Dr. Zoloft is an antidepressant. so your son won't be depressed anymore. watch out for sleepiness or drowsiness. give him milk, universal antidote for drug poisoning. got castor oil or ipecac to get him to vomit. Milk or ice cream usually works.

1. Syrup of ipecac.
2. 911
3. ER ASAP
If he ate any medicine not his own, he needs to get to a hospital immediately to prevent poisoning.
