Most American western states are much less religious. Washington State was 27% atheist in the 2000 census.

There are no "atheist" countries or cities, only those whose policies are antagonistic toward religion. North Korea is probably the best (or worst) example of this. I don't know that this would be a bragging point, unless it's to point out how brutal and oppressive a nation can be. If anyone thinks North Korea's example is anything to emulate, I'm sure Kim Jong Il's regime would love to have them become a citizen.

Although where I am, Northern end of Delaware (U.S.), it's pretty comfortable...and actually by coincidence have at least three non-religious houses in a row including us. ; )

The Czech Republic's Census has 59% of people reporting themselves as "Non-religious". That's about as close as you're going to get.
