Let him pick out your present for you.
Just tell him that it is up to him as long as it is something personal.
Meaning NO vacuums, dishes, tires, tools etc........lol
That way you know how much thought he put into it.

Speaking as someone who has received very few gifts in my lifetime... I wouldn't know how to ask for one.
Why not be grateful for anything at all... what happened to surprises?
And because, one day, like me and a million, million, million others, you could end up all alone and never get so much as a birthday card...
So while you have a husband who even greets you with a smile, wakes up beside you safely, just be grateful... and hug and treasure him and surprise him instead on your birthday, by being totally unselfish and tell him he's the best gift you could have.
Material things fade and deteriorate, from the moment they are bought... and people are with us even less time than the furniture around us... trust me on this one, the suddenly and unexpected empty space beside you in that bed, gets bigger by the year and it's not the gifts you want... it's the person that he is!

does he have to buy you something? maybe he can take you to a show or on a weekend away instead. It isn't always materialistic things that create the best feelings and memories. Whatever he does ..have a great birthday anyway :))

You sound like a woman who has everything...
if that is the case, then how about a book with ideas for gifts
Or are there so many thingies you want that it is hard to make up your mind?...
then I'd suggest draw a lot from the hat

Something you really want and that he can afford.
If you can't think of anything you want them how about a pampering day at a nice health spa?
