Why cant I get a live person from my local international airport security to answer the phone?

It is like they have THEIR phone number guarded!

Is it an automated system? Most voice mail systems if you hit 0, you get a person.

They are probably all freaked out today and "all hands on deck", so to speak.
Its sometimes hard to get in touch with those people anyway.
