How exactly do you convince your mom to allow you to have a dog?

By your actions. You have to prove you have the responsibility to own a dog before you can hope to even open a conversation on the subject.

To your mom you want a dog take a leash and walk it every day. This will show her you are responsible and willing to care for it once you get it.

i started a pet sitting business and showed my mom i was responsible and 3 months later, i got a cat which i had been asking for for 3 years!
