Honey, I won't tell you it isn't hard. When my mother died, I went into a terrible depression that lasted 3 years. It was awful. I was single and my bro and sis each had families so I guess it was easier for them. I had also been taking care of Mom while she was ill.
It does get better each month though. You will always miss her. If you feel as if you are not getting better, please get some sort of help. I know my mother would not have wanted to see me going into that sort of depression and yours would not want that to happen to you either.
Don't isolate yourself from people. See if there is a "grief" group in your area or on line. It will really help.
I am sorry I could not tell you it will all be OK soon, but I wanted to be honest with you. And I promise you it will get better in time.
God bless you. And I am so sorry to hear about your mom.

My mom died when I was 21 and it has now been about 20 years now. The first year, I felt just like you do. I was helpless and didn't feel I could go on. It does get better with time. I know that seems like just a simple statement, but it does get better. Sure, there will be times when things are really rough and you think you can't handle her being gone, but like the person said before me, she is in your heart always. A good thing to do is to relax and remember the great times you had with your mom. Try not be sad and think about those times as being blessings that you got to share and cherish.

My mother passed away 3 years ago, and it still feels like yesterday. Though it does not feel like it now, things will get a little better for you as time goes by. She was buried on her birthday, so every year at that time I get really depressed. One of the things that helps to bring me comfort is knowing that she is no longer suffering or in pain, because she died from breast cancer. Continue to cherish all of your memories of her and she will continue to live within you.

my condolences. It's never easy when someone passes away that is your family, especially a parent. All you can do is take one day at a time, talk to your friends about how you are feeling, and if that doesn't feel right, i would even talk to your doctor. She will ALWAYS be with you and watching over you. I lost my grammie almost 3 years ago and I think about her every day!

i'm sorry u lost your mother,i too lost mine 3 yrs ago,u never get over it and your birthday will always be the hardest time since it is the one day that only u and her shared.I was 46 when she passed and she still called me every b.d. and sang happy b.d. to me in the worse voice ever, but i loved it and i miss it you need to let yourself grieve even if it means staying in bed for a week and crying your eyes out. also grieve counciling might help,u are not alone, its the circle of life and yes it does suck.good luck sweetheart.

sorry to hear your horrible news.
She have gone but she will never be forgoten.
We all have to go.We cannot escape death. She will not want you to keep mourning her.
Instead celebreate for life.Remember the good times.
This is much more rewarding.
It will take time.
TAKE CARE
