Stop having crushes on boys, worrying about if someone likes you, and spending so much time in yahoo answers. On top of that, set aside a time of day to study, pay attention in class, take notes, and put away the iPod.

it's gonna be tough, but u have to put in more time to study. try spending a set amount of time a day doing the assignments, and going over anything u don't understand. a tip for tests, is that usually they cover what the teacher is giving out in homework and examples in class. if u can follow along in class, u have a good chance of being able to do well in the class. make sure u understand everything as it is being taught or assigned.. if there's anything that is too hard, ask ur parents, friends, or have a study group, or ask the teacher to help u. also, if u really have hard time understanding, u may have to ask for a tutor. for example, i had a friend in college(!) who spent HOURS studying each day, but kept getting D's. so sometimes it's not the time spent, but if u are being productive. dont' be scared or afraid to ask for help.. it's better to do it now than be in college and still not know. :) don't worry, just try! everyone will appreciate ur effort, even ur parents and the teachers.

Pay attention in every class, go to every class, do your homework and all reading assignment. Do the assigned reading BEFORE going to class. Take reading notes on that material. Take notes in class. If you really do not understand the material, meet with your teacher sometime to learn it a little better. Get a tutor if that does not work.
Get creative if it bores you... like search for the same information in other ways, articles online, television specials on the topic... whatever. But learn for learning's sake, not necessarily for a grade... it might make it more "fun"

You just have to study harder and try to pay attention in class. I had the same problem and now S.S. is my best subject. I'm also a professional peer tutor at my school so it really worked out for me.

Make sure you know what the question is asking before you answer it. Wouldn't hurt to study either.

Form a study group with classmates. Or, ask your parents if they will get a tutor for you.
