you can spray the pup with a water bottle every time it gets near it. Or put pennies it a coke can and tape it closed when the pup goes near the plant throw the can at her (not to hit her) the noise scares her and after a few times the pup will learn that it is a no no. In the process make sure the pup DOES NOT eat the leaves because some house plants are very very toxic.

I would move the houseplant. If it is a large, potted floor plant, move it to a room where the puppy cannot go. If it's on your coffee table or some other low place, move it to a higher place. You might also want to start giving him or her small leather chew toys to chew on; that might get his mind off of the houseplants.

Why don't you just move the plant somewhere else where your puppy can't get to it?

you could get sour apple spray at the pet store and spray that on it or when the dog chews on the plant take a can of pennies and shake it at him.
