If you are using Internet Explorer you may see a yellow bar come down from below the address field that says something like Click Here for ActiveX.

I'm having the exact same problem. I plan to contact them as soon as I'm done here. You probably ought to do the same....

Would you contact me if you find out anything? I'll do the same for you if it gets to me first! :)

I wish I had something good to report, but it's just not. I went searching, and on the Adobe customer forum, I found that ALOT of users are having the same problem as you & I are. One person said he got the software to work using the Foxfire browser, but the only thing I know about Foxfire is the name. As for everyone else that I looked at, they're all complaining, but it seems that no one has an answer. There's even blogs that have the heading, "Adobe customer support sucks!". One person said that they had called the toll-free number for customer support TWICE, and it was a waste of time. Apparently, even Adobe doesn't have an answer.

Wish I had better news for you, but I guess we're going to have to wait until they come out with a new version that works out the bugs. It really makes me mad, because I can't get on the "Who Wants to be a Superhero" website (on SciFi) without it, and I wanted to badly.

I wonder if we emailed all the sites that use Adobe Flash, told them the situation, and asked them to quit using Flash until they get it fixed; do you think that might help them get off their collective butts and actually do something about it?

This same problem happened to me, I tried everything to install it but it would'nt install. But then I downloaded Mozilla Firefox as an alternate to Internet Explorer, it is a free download and is virus free.
