For you sore throat, consume a Popsicle and don't drink something with milk in it by using fact it rather is going to reason phlegm. Stuffy nostril rub some Vicks on it or take a warm bathe and lay down.

the best thing? SOUP!
go to the store and buy a can of hearty soup! it has sodium that will give you some energy. And becasue it's warm, it'll make your throat feel better :) it's almost as if you're throat isn't even sore! Trust me on this, I use to get the worst sore throats, i couldn't even drink water! it hurt so much. But soup, its hot and will give you energy and you'll feel better in no time!

Ok, I know this will sound crazy but, fried chicken. There is a catch though. You have to take off the fried batter first, and you have to only get the dark meat. The dark meat is jucier and goes down alot easier than white meat. Trust me, it'll actually sooth your throat. Also, as someone else mentioned earlier, mashed potatoes would go great with it! Hope ya feel better soon and can have a big slice of pizza!! heehee!

A really good smoothie...chilled fresh yoghurt...plain or flavored. Then just add some fruit juices to get the consistency...fresh fruit like banana to fill you up.......all the vits you need...tasty healthy and cool. Add some honey. It's a natural antiseptic and will realy help your throat too...GET WELL SOON XXXX

mashed potatoes; you could always make the instant kind-just make sure to add more milk and margarine (butter). You can add in cooked ground hamburger and grated cheese, too.
A good sore throat remedy: equal parts honey and lemon juice, melted together. Spoon into mouth when not too hot.
Also: marshmallow root is good for sore throats: Throat Coat Herbal Tea is the best.

Oatmeal, and soggy type of toast, ( lots of butter on it). This will fill you up, and any type of smoothie you like.
Hope you feel better soon. I hate sore throats.

Soup with warm bread.
For the soup: put in chicken and any and every vegetable you can think of (mushroom, zucchini, brocolli, celery, carrots, potato, leeks, etc.)

Oatmeal, mashed potatoes (with or without gravy), nachos with cheese sauce -- yeah, this last one burns some, but you feel sooo much better after.
