Pausing for a moment to relax. Think of your favorite place and take a deep breath. It may just help you forget about your headache - medication free! Other ways are to use massage of pressure points. Rubbing earlobes helps remove tension above the neck. Try closing your eyes to elimate stimulae for a moment.

Many people think that getting headaches is just a natural part of life. Not so! There are causes, and thankfully, cures for headaches, even bad ones like migraines. Look into seeing a reputable Chiropractor as many headaches stim from misalignment in the cervical spine area. And if that doesn't do the trick, you can also see an acupuncturist. Good luck!

Drink LOTS of water, or, and don't take this the wrong way, but go take a big poop, it can REALLY help!

The majority of adult headaches are caused by dehydration. That's why people often get headaches when they're hung over. They're body has used up its water supply processing the booze. So try water or gatorade before you resort to a pain killer. It's not good to just automatically reach for pills to cure everything. If the water or liquid doesn't work, THEN take a Tylenol.

Go into a dark, silent room with a damp clothe on your head. Aspirin does work but if you use it too regularly it can cause the headaches. Other trigger foods can be caffeine (soda etc.) alcohol, or even chocolate. If you feel a headache coming on avoid these foods and drink lots of water instead.

Depends on what kind of headache, migraines, tension, sinus. Try Advil Liquid gel for everyday headaches, Sudafed is good for sinus and Excedrin for Migraines and tension is great. Lay down with an ice pack in a quiet /dark room and just relax and try to sleep if you can.

The fastest way is paracetamol like tynenol or advil. But it's not good to do that. they are considered pain killers and its kind of a overdose for a headache. The best natural way is to sleep. If that doesn't work try herbal or ayruvedic medicine. ^_^

Coffee first, the caffeine will restrict blood vessels and potentially ease the headache but it really depends on the type of headache. Coffee can also aggravate some headaches.

When I have a really bad headache, I rub Vicks on my forehead, around my nose, and under my eyes. The vapors seem to help. Then I stand in a hot shower and let the water run on my face.
