i want to be an actress. read on please?

I want to be an actress . i am12 and i want to be not in movies but in a series tv show maybe my own. how do get noticed without having to fly to california [ i live in illinois ] because money is tight?

There are no acting opportunities in my town. I live in a really small town. What should I do? I really wanna just be up there acting and I have no plan.Someone please help me! ♥

Look for local acting opportunities. There are bound to be acting troupes for young people in your area...Check your phone book or newspaper. Also, the theaters in the city closest to you will probably have parts for young people, that you could try out for. I know that the last time I went to our musical theater, there were a couple of kids in the performance.

I know exactly how ya feel girl. I wanna be an actress too...really bad. If I were you, I'd try looking up auditions in your hometown on the internet. Maybe you could also send your resume and a head shot to a casting agency or a casting director. Of course, it costs money to get a head shot done. Just try and be in as many plays and stuff as possible. I'm sure you'll get noticed! Good Luck!

first start in school plays and productions in your town. then if you have a really good show send the video tape to producers in L.A. If not that then you can make your own website and put your plays and acting skills up on that and someday youll get noticed

hi well you should see if anybody is looking for the descrioption you match. and since you are 12... maybe a pilot that would lead to imminent doom wouldnt be a good idea. if you hire a publicist to get you on the sopt then my work here is done i guess...
