I am Atheist and I am quite well educated and very happy. Am I the lone exception? Would I be happier if I blindly accepted that I was created to serve/worship a God that there was absolutely no proof of? Oops, I shouldn't question his existence or I will surely burn in hell.

NO, most are honest, ethical and moral. More so than the vast majority of the believers that I have met or known in my life.

I'm happy (I would rather seek the truth than follow blindly) and will have my undergraduate degree by the end of this school year. I also run a forum that includes other happy educated atheists, feel free to join our growing little group.

I find that most atheist are more well educated, and more willing to question life around us, than most Christians.

I also find that most Christians and Atheists at this site come off as narrow-minded, judgmental, and angry. Not sure if that's the best way to get people to understand your point of view.

I am a progressive Christian. I imagine I am no more or less happy than you. In addition, I do not believe I am any more or less likely to "burn in hell" as you.

Peace.

oh no, most of the educated people i know are atheists. once you start learning to really think about things, religion makes less and less sense until it's very easily dismissed as delusional rantings of millenia-dead writers.
