I guess the main question is should the details in the DS-156 application form be as they are when I fill out the visa application or as they are when I actually attend the visa interview at the US consulate in Mumbai (6 months after now)?

Its an H4 dependent visa application so it gets most confusing when I am filling up the question on my marital status. Should it be single or married?

Thanks in advance!

Unless you are getting married in the next 6 months what should it matter. If you are single now, as of filling in this form then say single.
