well me and a guy just got out of a ok brake up. We broke up b/c we were not geting to see each other at all b/c we went to other schools. Now he is at my school and he has changed so much. I still like him and he still likes me ( his friend told me) he is always talking to me and looking at me but i dont ever say any thing. I realy like him but every one is telling me that he wants to go out with me but he is girl shy so he will not ask me so what do you think i should do?

Show interest in him, give him your attention. Flirt with him and no matter how shy he is he will ask you out. You have to reassure him. the problem with most shy guys is they do not know how to properly interpret body language. So give him some help by being a bit more obvious than normally. Eye contact is always good. look him in the eyes and give him a smile. He is sure to melt. Try to keep a conversation alive with him and make him feel comfortable in his skin around you. From there on it should all fall into place fairly easy.

I don't know about 'girl shy' - if you and him already have a history then you both need to be open with each other and decide what you each want to do next - try not to listen to what other people say, do and think, that only confuses the issue. Talk to each other and you should get a clearer picture, good luck

You sound pretty young. As you get older, you don't beat around the bush as much. Start carrying on some small talk instead of standing there eerily while the guy carries on a one-sided conversation. Man if I knew a girl and she did that to me, I would start to get freaked out and just stay away from her. You are definitely sending that poor guy the wrong message if you want to hook up with him.

well, most guys aren't interested in having a distant relationship. Most guys probably want to go out with a girl who he can see almost all the time. you should forget about him, still be friends, and lok for a guy who wants to see your face every waking moment, not obcessably though, and you think you want a close realationship with.

you really have two choices. you can either ask him out and take your chances or you can both be too shy, never go out and always be wondering. dont waste anymore time thinking what if ask him out. if you are too shy take one of your friends over with you and you guys can organise to go out with friends and take things from there. good luck.
