holy crap, the world is a sad place... all y'all think you know EVERYTHING, when in actual fact you know nothing!!!!!!
so get this: I LIVE IN ISRAEL!!!!!!!! we're not zionist pigs, we dont kill innocent Arabs on a daily basis (try the other way around), we dont break UN resolutions (although Kofi Annan is a notorious anti-semite, and thats common knowledge...) - none of that!!!!!
Israel is a legal and rightful state, made up of a nation who has been persecuted and abused throughout the entire history- the Jews (proof: the Holocaust. over 6 million Jews were slaughtered for no reason). Finally, Israel has realized that it has a right to defend itself!! Its time for innocent Jews and Israelis to stop being murdered. And its time the world saw things the way they really are and gave us some respect!

This is not my opinion, simply what I know about history - and should be considered a very general overview for the purpose of answering your question.

The forcing of the state of Israel in the Middle East displaced the Palestinians and left them without a country (or only half - and not the part they wanted).

After most of the Jewish people were annihilated due to the Holocaust during WWII, the world felt bad and simply decided the Jewish people should have their own country - and the Jewish people wanted it to be where they consider is their "Promised Land", which is Jerusalem, located in Palestine. Consequently, this action left the Palestinians nationless. So, the Palestinians are, and have been, a bunch of pissed off people since then... which has led to continual strife since then, against Israel and of course, any "Western" nation that helped decide that fate long ago...

The Jewish community will say they have always been in the area - that is true, many Jewish immigrants went their in diferent waves, but it was never officially their territory until after WWII.

A decent resource is the link I've attached.

Israel creates Islamic terrorists because these terrorists feel that this is the only way to be heard out since Israel has a lot of power, while arabs like the palestinians have nothing. People in the US started to want answers and why these acts are occuring especially after 9/11. Israel controls because they have US as their "enabler" and results Israel constantly breaking UN resolutions and nobody seems to do anything about it.

Because Jewish people are go great, successful, smart, managed to rebuild life after 6 million of them were murdered in the Holocaust, in less then 60 years and look - their country in on top in Science, Hi Tech, Best Army/air force/navy and military industries, beautiful people...

Admit it world - you are just Jealous!! unfortunately that is why for so many years Jews were hunted everywhere, everyone was envy of them being Lawyers, Doctors, Bankers, not even in their own state but in other countries in Europe & America...

Envy can lead to bad-bad things...
Don't worry, They will overcome this crisis too, they are good strong people and Israel is the only Democracy in the middle East...

Do you mean why does the world always blame Israel for Israel's actions? For the same reason that the world blames you for your actions and they blame me for my actions. A person, nation, entity is responsible for its actions.

This is maybe a little long, but accurate. Read and be educated!!!

For those who don't know, Dennis Miller is a comedian who has a show called Dennis Miller Live on HBO. He is not Jewish.

He recently said the following about the Mideast situation.

"A brief overview of the situation is always valuable, so as a service to all Americans who still don't get it, I now offer you the story of the Middle East in just a few paragraphs, which is all you really need. Here we go.

The Palestinians want their own country. There's just one thing about that:
There are no Palestinians. It's a made up word. Israel was called Palestine for two thousand years. Like "Wiccan," "Palestinian" sounds ancient but is really a modern invention

Before the Israelis won the land in the 1967 war, Gaza was owned by Egypt, the West Bank was owned by Jordan, and there were no "Palestinians." As soon as the Jews took over and started growing oranges as big as basketballs, what do you
know, say hello to the "Palestinians," weeping for their deep bond with their lost "land" and "nation."

So for the sake of honesty, let's not use the word "Palestinian" anymore to describe these delightful folks, who dance for joy at our deaths, until someone points out they're being taped.

Instead, let's call them what they are:: "Other Arabs Who Can't Accomplish Anything In Life And Would Rather Wrap Themselves In The Seductive Melodrama Of Eternal Struggle And Death."

I know that's a bit unwieldy to expect to see on CNN.

How about this, then: "Adjacent Jew-Haters." Okay, so the Adjacent Jew-Haters want their own country. Oops, just one more thing. No, they don't. They could've had their own country any time in the last thirty years, especially two years
ago at Camp David but if you have your own country, you have to have traffic lights and garbage trucks and Chambers of Commerce, and, worse, you actually have to figure out some way to make a living.

That's no fun. No, they want what all the other Jew-Haters in the region want: Israel. They also want a big pile of dead Jews, of course -- that's where the real fun is -- but mostly they want Israel.

Why? For one thing, trying to destroy Israel - or "The Zionist Entity" as their textbooks call it -- for the last fifty years has allowed the rulers of Arab countries to divert the attention of their own people away from the fact that they're the blue-ribbon most illiterate, poorest, and tribally backward on God's Earth, and if you've ever been around God's Earth . . . you know that's
really saying something.

It makes me roll my eyes every time one of our pundits waxes poetic about the great history and culture of the Muslim Middle East. Unless I'm missing something, the Arabs haven't given anything to the world since Algebra, and, by the way, thanks a hell of a lot for that one.

Chew this around & spit it out: 500 million Arabs; 5 million Jews. Think of all the Arab countries as a football field, and Israel as a pack of matches sitting in the middle of it. And now these same folks swear that, if Israel gives them half of that pack of matches, everyone will be pals.

Really? Wow, what neat news. Hey, but what about the string of wars to obliterate the tiny country and the constant din of rabid blood oaths to drive every Jew into the sea? Oh, that? We were just kidding.

My friend Kevin Rooney made a gorgeous point the other day: Just reverse the Numbers.
Imagine 500 million Jews and 5 million Arabs. I was stunned at the simple brilliance of it .Can anyone picture the Jews strapping belts of razor blades and dynamite to themselves? Or marshaling every fiber and force at their disposal for generations to drive a tiny Arab State into the sea? Or dancing for
joy at the murder of innocents? Or spreading and believing horrible lies about the Arabs baking their bread with the blood of children?.

No, as you know, left to themselves in a world of peace, the worst Jews would ever do to people is debate them to death.

Mr. Bush, God bless him, is walking a tightrope. I understand that, with vital operations in Iraq and others, it's in our interest, as Americans, to try to stabilize our Arab allies as much as possible, and, after all, that can't be much harder than stabilizing a roomful of super models who've just had their drugs taken away.

However, in any big-picture strategy, there's always a danger of losing moral weight. We've already lost some. After September 11th, our president told us and the world he was going to root out all terrorists and the countries that supported them.

Bautiful. Then the Israelis, after months and months of having the equivalent of an Oklahoma City every week (and then every day), start to do the same thing we did, and we tell them to show restraint.

If America were being attacked with an Oklahoma City every day, we would all very shortly be screaming for the administration to just be done with it and kill everything south of the Mediterranean and east of the Jordan River.

Dennis Miller is a comedian, but the above is not a joke. Its historicly accurate. He learned his materia!!!

Cause Israel is always stirring up messes. They get blames because they are guilty. Everytime someone calls them on thier crap they yell halocaust or antisemeticism. They don't take responsibility for any of their own actions

I hope that you are interested in a real answer based on documented facts and strong research.

Because Israel has violated and still violates 40+ UN resolutions.

Because Israel kills inncoent palstinians on a daily basis(and an occasional none innconent person every once in a while)

Because Israel Holds 10000+ Arab prisionsers most of whom are held with out a trial

Because Israel violates human rights( check the webistes for Amnesty Interntional and human rights watch)

Because Israel still Occupies parts of other countries.

I will quote from the article that is contained in the link:

"Israel is often portrayed as David confronted by Goliath, but the converse is closer to the truth. Contrary to popular belief, the Zionists had larger, better equipped and better led forces during the 1947-49 War of Independence, and the Israel Defence Forces won quick and easy victories against Egypt in 1956 and against Egypt, Jordan and Syria in 1967 – all of this before large-scale US aid began flowing. Today, Israel is the strongest military power in the Middle East. Its conventional forces are far superior to those of its neighbours and it is the only state in the region with nuclear weapons. Egypt and Jordan have signed peace treaties with it, and Saudi Arabia has offered to do so. Syria has lost its Soviet patron, Iraq has been devastated by three disastrous wars and Iran is hundreds of miles away. The Palestinians barely have an effective police force, let alone an army that could pose a threat to Israel. According to a 2005 assessment by Tel Aviv University’s Jaffee Centre for Strategic Studies, ‘the strategic balance decidedly favours Israel, which has continued to widen the qualitative gap between its own military capability and deterrence powers and those of its neighbours.’ If backing the underdog were a compelling motive, the United States would be supporting Israel’s opponents."

"Some aspects of Israeli democracy are at odds with core American values. Unlike the US, where people are supposed to enjoy equal rights irrespective of race, religion or ethnicity, Israel was explicitly founded as a Jewish state and citizenship is based on the principle of blood kinship. Given this, it is not surprising that its 1.3 million Arabs are treated as second-class citizens, or that a recent Israeli government commission found that Israel behaves in a ‘neglectful and discriminatory’ manner towards them. Its democratic status is also undermined by its refusal to grant the Palestinians a viable state of their own or full political rights."

" Israel’s backers also portray it as a country that has sought peace at every turn and shown great restraint even when provoked. The Arabs, by contrast, are said to have acted with great wickedness. Yet on the ground, Israel’s record is not distinguishable from that of its opponents. Ben-Gurion acknowledged that the early Zionists were far from benevolent towards the Palestinian Arabs, who resisted their encroachments – which is hardly surprising, given that the Zionists were trying to create their own state on Arab land. In the same way, the creation of Israel in 1947-48 involved acts of ethnic cleansing, including executions, massacres and rapes by Jews, and Israel’s subsequent conduct has often been brutal, belying any claim to moral superiority. Between 1949 and 1956, for example, Israeli security forces killed between 2700 and 5000 Arab infiltrators, the overwhelming majority of them unarmed. The IDF murdered hundreds of Egyptian prisoners of war in both the 1956 and 1967 wars, while in 1967, it expelled between 100,000 and 260,000 Palestinians from the newly conquered West Bank, and drove 80,000 Syrians from the Golan Heights."

"During the first intifada, the IDF distributed truncheons to its troops and encouraged them to break the bones of Palestinian protesters. The Swedish branch of Save the Children estimated that ‘23,600 to 29,900 children required medical treatment for their beating injuries in the first two years of the intifada.’ Nearly a third of them were aged ten or under. The response to the second intifada has been even more violent, leading Ha’aretz to declare that ‘the IDF . . . is turning into a killing machine whose efficiency is awe-inspiring, yet shocking.’ The IDF fired one million bullets in the first days of the uprising. Since then, for every Israeli lost, Israel has killed 3.4 Palestinians, the majority of whom have been innocent bystanders; the ratio of Palestinian to Israeli children killed is even higher (5.7:1). It is also worth bearing in mind that the Zionists relied on terrorist bombs to drive the British from Palestine, and that Yitzhak Shamir, once a terrorist and later prime minister, declared that ‘neither Jewish ethics nor Jewish tradition can disqualify terrorism as a means of combat.’"
