Has it occurred to anyone else...
(1) Bush and most conservative christians vehemently oppose abortion and teen-age (and increasingly adult, including for married couples)
birth control; and,
(2) Bush and most conservative christians support the war; that, therefore,
(3) They are of the former because they need more cannon fodder for the latter!

A few points here

1. Yes we oppose abortion....to my knowledge, I have never heard Bush speak out on birth control. I think most people have no problem with birth control.
Here is a good point for you, the Demorcrats ( for the most) are considered liberal and pro-abortion. Over the past 40 years there have been like approx. 40 million abortions presumably mostly from the liberal side ( Meaning Democratic for the most part)
Ok, the last two elections have been VERY close, so I am saying that the democrats beat themselves by allowing the deaths of nearly 40 million potential voters that would have been mostly liberal....Makes you think, huh?

2. Yes..we support the war against terroism. I would hope you would be glad that we took the war to THEM on THEIR ground so we don't have to fight it over here at home.
IF the Democrats gain back political power this fall and IF they decide to bring our troups home, you wait and see how soon we'll be attacked again here and the war will continue whether you like it or not..........but now, it will be in the U.S. fighting terrorist attacks

My goodness but you reached over the left field wall to bring that one down didn't you? I wonder how anyone could possibly believe that statement. Bush and conservative christians oppose abortion as a form of birth control. Not AND birth control. You are talking about a specific "faith based religion" that does not believe in birth control. Abortion was never supposed to be used as a form of birth control but it is now considered THE LEADING birth control device on the market today.

Bush and conservative christians believe that we need to protect ourselves from extremists who plan to eradicate this world of our very existance. They would like nothing more than to have every American dead on the city streets. We support the war on terror because it protects our lives, our homes and our country. Are you saying you DON'T want to be safe in your own home?

And it is just plain ignorant to make such a moronic generalization as your 3rd point. There have always been wars and rumors of wars. Young men go to war---they fight for what they believe in. Remember---we have an all volunteer army. We do not have the draft in place. So please do not dishonor those young men and women who are sacrificing life and limb to keep you safe so you can bad mouth the government.

You have a good day now---ya hear?

Not sure if I've ever read Bush saying he is against birth control for married couples.

The Catholic Church, however, is against birth control. Bush is not Catholic.

That said, regarding the war, how can so many conservative Christians support a war against a country that never attacked us? Thou shall not kill?

Abortion is the murder of innocent babies.

War is the self defense of our country, families, and life.

President Bush is President.

Al Gore is not, and John Kerry... well he has 3 purple hearts and a bottle of catsup.

and your point is.

Asserting equality between a war we didn't ask for and a bad law that was forced on us is moral relativism.
Killing people who are attempting to kill you is a morally just cause. Abortion is well.. not the same and I'll say no more.

What the hell are you talking about?

Where the hell do you get off spewing the Bush administration is opposed to birth control? Are you kidding, or are you just stupid?

Your point #3 makes about as much sense as your pitiful existence.

Abortion and birth control do seem to have the spotlight.

Perhaps we should stress a ban on adultery. That includes pre-marital sex as well as extra-marital sex.

Then we wouldn't need abortions or birth control.

We live in a crazy society, where we condone the killing of the unborn or dumped into dumpsters, while a lot of criminals who deserve to be put in dumpsters go free.

No wonder God is angry with us, and sents plagues and wars.
