Since you are both 19, I am gonna assume you don't have a big budget...and since there is no beach near by then I recommend you do something sweet and simple. Take her out to a nice romantic restaurant, or cook the dinner yourself...make sure it's a candle light dinner. Then make a cd of songs, that remind you of her, love songs...basically anything that makes you think "hmmm she might like this," burn two copies of the cd...one copy to play while eating dinner, and the other copy give to her as a present. Make sure you make the cd label yourself, in your hand writing, even if you think your hand writing sucks, she will appreciate it. Also, give her a card or write/copy a poem in your own handwriting, and make sure it tells her how you feel about her.
Another thing you can do is bring her flowers, find out what her favorite flowers are and then buy em and give em to her before dinner...
Another thing you can do is recreate your first date, or first kiss or when you first met and give her a card, letter or whatever saying something like "It started here, and I hope that it continues on from here on" or "Who knew when I met you that you would become such an important part of my life... I think the sun, the moon, the stars, and destiny knew that the day we met we had a special bond between us, and I hope that thins bond continues to grow." Or something....

U R both 19? Well, at any age, dinner at a nice restaurant is always a good gift. Also, women (even young women) like flowers! Also, depending on ur budget & the seriousness of the relationship, u may consider getting her some jewelry; if u don't know her ring size/style, then get a nice gold chain or something w/a diamond in it--women luv diamonds!

dinner definitely, if you can cook, even better.....if you cant just pick somewhere nice, but remember no McDonalds.....as far as gifts go...how much money you got? enough for jewelry? then do it....i have found that you can never go wrong with diamonds in your hand......not your thing or too expensive.....flowers are always nice...get her her favortite...doesnt necassarily have to be roses...unless thats what she likes....other ideas: just clue into her hints...women always drop names and little things they would like just to see what their men will say, surprise her and show her you actually are listening.....congrats on ur 1st yr....hope many more come to you!!!!

mine too but were not 19 we are in our 30 somethings..... i am considering a romantic meal and a hotel room with lots of slllllipppppery oils and toys and thinking of the same place we met and pre phone the restaurant for candles and flowers and someone who will sing our fav song at our table ........ hope i innovated you ..... good luck and have fun ..... forget all negative thoughts its just you and her on that special occasion you will only have once in your life , so take advantage of it and do it for the memory you will have when you are 80

just have a nice dinner. get dressed up really nice.you can buy her a bracelet or necklace. preferably diamonds :) but if you dont have the money you can buy her a heart necklace and some flowers. just plan a nice evening where its just the two of you.

does she like fishing? I cant forget my 1 yr ann. my b/f who is my husband now, newlyweds, took me to the lake, camping and we fished until 4am and drank beer, i had so much fun, we had a chance to talk and spend time w/ each other...and made love in the tent...also women love promise rings but make sure you keep your promise;)
