Laminate is the cheapest way out but nothing compares to a good hardwood floor. Today's finishes are extremely durable. Even the cheap ones at Home Depot and Lowes are very good. The only investment you can make in your home that will add double its cost to the resale value.

i really do agree with the person that said do the laminate floors
is easy to put down and the keeping of it is easy to.and the clean up after the dogs or pets is easy to get up fast
they also have the no glue kid it's very easy to lay and it's ready to go with you if you should want to move.

I have tiled floors, and when I clean, they look spotless. I LOVE them! I also live in a warm climate.

look into corkboard flooring, i hear it's great! not as hard on the feet as tile and very durable! It looks nice too.

if you live by salt water i would use teak wood. you can finish it or leave natural. it con take anything you have to offer ,dogs water,sand ,humidity, and even scratching and kids.

PERGO.....I have it and it is easy to take of and clean. It also holds up to all my kids and dog.
