I think all of them are equally amazing. Each profession requires skill, discipline, hard work, commitment, spirit, and passion. I am really enchanted by dancers and musicians because so much of yourself goes into those two. Dancers have to put their whole focus into the movement and rhythm and understand the music and express so many different things with every single part of their bodies, and really great dancers are awe-inspiring to watch. Musicians can also deliver so many different emotions through their instruments and they are awe-inspiring to hear! Great writers and actors are hard to come by because there is a lot of junk out there, but the really good ones are amazing, too. It's hard to say. Each one is so different and wonderful in their own way. I love dancing, music, and writing. The only thing I don't do is act. I play the French horn and the piano, and dancing is just fun and I love to do it and watch it. I am a decent writer but it's not something I do often. I'm a communication design major, and I am surprised you left out "artist" in your question. That's a whole different story! :) I love painting and drawing, and I love that i can put the things that I love and care about or the things that I feel on a piece of paper or a canvas. Basically, the arts rock my world. All kinds: dancing, music, writing, acting, PAINTING! :)

Acting is the easiest of the lot, but all the others are pretty equal in the amount of talent it takes to do them. Any idiot can act - but fair enough you do need talent to be able to act well, although I think you need far less practice to be a professional actor than you would to be a professional dancer or musician. Acting and writing is mostly all about talent, whereas dancers and musicians (proper ones - not one hit wonder "my soap career has gone, I'm going to be a pop princess" people or "I can press a button and be payed $50 an hour" DJs) need a large amount of dedication and practice to improve, however talented they are. So I think dancers, musicians and writers are all equal

Being a writer I'd have to say I admire the writer for his/her creativity. Clever wording always makes me smile whether its in a book or heard thru a song's verse

Musicians for their ability to play a wonderful harmony...and if they put words to melody that makes the admiration twice as nice, especially when its a clever wording (i.e. You know I love you like a fat kid loves cake)

Dancer haven't particularly moved me much. Maybe hip hop or R&B routines that are choreographed nicely such as the Thriller video. Now that was classic.

And well actors...I only admire the great ones when they can clearly bring life to any movie they touch. This is rare...but some that come to mind - Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett and Jack Nicholas....yeah that's talent.

It's a tough call. Each is a real important parts of art. I'm gonna have to go with the writer. I think the writer has an ability to significantly shape our present, past, and future. They can tell us how and what to think, and how and what to think about. They can entertain us, compel us, confuse us, enrage us, and evoke a plethora of other emotions with the stroke of a pen, or tap of a key. Additionally, even if a writer is a columnist for The New York Times, and deals with, sometimes dry, US political minutia, there is still a degree of art in the way he uses words and structures sentences.

they're all desirable of their own acceptable. yet to respond to your question i imagine a dancer and actor and a painter could be more effective eye-catching to the interest because you'll discover them, yet a musician will be heard.

i love creative people! I am a dancer, play piano and am attempting to learn to play guitar. But I just love when people can open themselves up and show their vulnerable sides. I admire them all.
