Beer is sacred to God, and he always peels away his label a little bit as not to mix his divine brew up with the others, and makes it easily find-able. So yes and no.

You're nailing it - what we term 'god' is a projection of our own ego/human thought system. Jesus tried to get this dynamic of projecting our own desires, wishes, thoughts onto god via the 'good son' in the prodigal son parable (the 'good son' thinks god should be a certain way and, when god isn't, the good son is angry). When we get rid of these ego projections, we can get to the real god.
