I saw a news artical about 5 years ago on a study done on the church in England. The study projected no christians in England in 60 years. I will not live long enough to see how this plays out, but it is interesting. It could be right. I wonder what % of the Brits are born again??

yes lots of people go to church, there are many different denominations though.
you have your evangelical churches where there is much shouting and fussing or church of England/Wales where it is much more respectable and calm
I have heard of some churches where it is like a big youth club
I like the tradition but I think that God ( whatever your religion) can be found everywhere- look out the window see flowers and trees and know that God is there

There are also the massive volume of contradictions of the Bible and that is failure to illustrate any unique insights into the human project, compared to greek philosophy, besides as its tents being disproved with the aid of the likes of copernicus and Galileo, which make it a marginal area of diagnosis in an additional and extra secular and information-depending technological society, the position it has little fee (as do maximum branches of philosophy). the different problem with faith in faculties (or everywhere) is you ought to opt to generate a favor to believe among children of diverse backgrounds which become traditionally finished with the aid of delivers of heaven or threats of eternal damnation, in the different case everyday as psychological newborn abuse. Now that children can discover out the information about astrophysics and evolution, there's a lot less of a call for to have a God present day. One ought to besides study about the Smurfs; there is as a lot information for them.

with Prince Charles as Defender of the Faith... well... I think one of his acts was to change the title to Defender of Faiths...
would be interesting to see if he encourages support for churches
I think less that 5% of Britsh go to church regularly
