my cat goes into heat evry 3 months or so last for a week then gose back to normal. i never new they did it more often none of the cats i ever had went more than a week in heat and at 3 to 4 months in between

Every two to three weeks a female will go into heat, unless she is spayed (good ) or pregnant (bad). She can even get pregnant again when nursing kittens, so get her spayed ASAP, before going into heat. It only takes once....
