Hypnosis might help. But it's not necessary. You developed this annoying, expensive habit on your own, so you can break it.

It might help to substitute a different habit in its place.

Good luck.

You do not have a habit, you have an addiction. GA is not a crybaby group. They are a group of individuals brave enough to face up to their addiction and do something about it.

If you really want to try hypnosis, check your local yellow pages. It is a bit unrealistic to expect anyone here to magically know where you live it send you the information you ask.

There is no quick and easy way to kick an addiction, though. You would have a much higher chance for success if you chose GA and/or therapy with a professional. And it will take a serious commitment to quit and hard work.

How bout seeking therapy. Clearly you have a problem. Just as clearly you are not serious about solving it. The reason I say that is that you have already closed off two good avenues to find folks that could support you to live healthier. Good luck anyway.

No, hypnotherapy won't help. You've got to make the conscious decision that your destructive habit isn't worth the stress and just quit.

And I know, its not easy.
