i need to make a boot disk but my laptop does not have a floppy disk drive and I only have a CD-Rom drive. I do have other computers so is there anyway to down load a boot disk and no I don't have the windows CD I bought my laptop from the newspaper used got any ideas

you could by an external Diskette drive, it cost about 29 dlls (new)
a cd burner software like norton or .....i dont remeber right know :(
or boot from a network

Even if you make a boot disk, how will you use it on a laptop without Floppy drive???

depending on your motherboard you can boot from USB. Check the BIOS settings. Secondly you can boot from a network- options are also in BIOS

ya u should boot it from your startup, press F2 or F10 and make it primary
