So why arent the "good" muslims louder in denouncing the "extremists"...could it be that they secretly root for the "extremists"??????

you are so right. the "good" muslims dont denounce the bad ones because they are afraid of them. we need to quit being such wimps and racially profile these idiots at the airport and any place they could cause harm. that or boot them all back to the sandy desert where they come from.

Tim McVeigh was not Muslim, but he was a terrorist. Actually, he was a home-grown terrorist from the good ol' U S of A.

How about this assumption?: Less than 1% of all Muslims are terrorists, but 99% of all terrorists are Muslim.

You are correct though. Why aren't the good Muslims loudly denouncing extremists? They (good Muslims) are either supportive of extremists' terror tactics or, more reasonably, the good ones are afraid for their life if they speak out.

Life means nothing to those fanatical extremists. This is why the extremists should be tracked down like the vermin they are and exterminated like damn roaches. No mercy on their souls!

Your group is too general. The issue is terrorist ORGANIZATIONS. Currently the major terrorist organizations are composed of primarily of Muslims, mostly male. In the past terrorist organizations were composed of different make ups. The analogy that makes the most sense to what you are asking is this. Were all members of the KKK Southern white males? Absolutely yes! Were all Southern white males member of the KKK. Of course not! But still, if I had been looking for KKK members I would be clearly profiling white males with certain other characteristics. Today if I were looking for a suicide bomber, I would clearly be focusing on Muslims, mostly young males.

Associated question. Did non KKK Southerners sympathize (root) for the KKK? I would say quite a few in the beginning (around 1865) to a scattered few today. Of course dirt poor Muslims root for anybody who represents God to them and tells them that they are fighting a holy war on their behalf!! You will not however even find many terrorist supporters in the more educated well to do portions of the Muslim world.

Not all terrorists are muslims either,

KKK isnt an Islamic Group I believe. The Army of god isnt Islamic also. And the following groups are not Islamic Based groups either like: IRA of Ireland, The Aum Shinrikyo from Japan, Tamil Tiger in Sri Lanka and MANY MANY more....

although Islamic based terrorist groups have the longest lists in general, but still the statement that all terrorist are muslims is a falsety

#1 Not all terrorists are muslims. Timothy Mc Veigh was Christian. Enough said.

#2 Good muslims live in America too. They're not only Arabs, but from Africa and many Asian countries. My mom's family are Indonesian Muslims. They're American citizens. They vote and pay taxes. Which means they're just like you, and have more important things to worry about than actively quashing propaganda that spreads faster and more actively than they have time or energy for. Where do you get your propaganda? Do you go straigh to good Muslims for their views on terrorism, or do you listen to the bigoted and biased media?

Edit: I really love how someone profiled Muslims to be bigots and prejudiced. But where does he get his info from? Isn't he making a bigoted and racist statement too?
I don't have one or two people I've met casually that I think are Muslims for the basis of my observations. My family are Muslims. And they DO NOT support any acts of terrorism towards this country that they love. Way to generalize!

not all terrorists are muslims...
ever heard of the IRA, KKK, Timothy McVeigh, Moscow Theatre Siege. "Terrorism is the intentional use of violence, or threat of violence, almost exclusively against non-combatants, to generate fear, cause disruption, and ultimately, to bring about compliance with specific political, religious, ideological, and/or personal demands." ie. Israel, Nazis, United States. Also, there isn't one Muslim religion, or one "Arab" race. Blaming a Shiite for something a Sunni did is like blaming a Catholic for something a Baptist did. Blaming a Kurd for something a Persian(Iran) did is like blaming a German for something a Frenchman did. You're too limited in your thinking. A peaceful American Muslim doesn't voice against these acts as much as you think they should because in many cases they don't consider themselves part of the same religion, the different branches have different doctrines, there's much more than just the Quaran.

The "good" Muslims do not as you say, secretly support the terrorist Muslims. They admitted to doing so openly in UK polls.

So what? As long as they are welcome to carry on coming here by the thousand, entitled to priority housing because of family size, undreamed of, free, western equation for their children, free health service, unemployment benefit, a nice pension at 65 and any discussion of the problem prevented by cries of racism, why should they worry?

And why are you worrying? There is still standing room in UK, is there not?

As Muslims, we strongly condemn the terrorist attacks. Whatever other people are doing in the name of Islam is wrong. In the other hand, people shouldn't always see Muslims as base on Osama, Palestinians and Zerqawi etc. Every religion has good people and bad people. May Allah enlighten their wisdom.

Not all terrorists are muslims -- look at Timothy McVeigh. However, I do agree with your statement -- I think it would do a world of good if the vast majority of Muslims came out strongly against terrorist actions done in the name of their religion.
