A terrorist could go on naked to a plane and still find a way to bring the plane down. All this trigger happy police and Hollywood over reaction is all about politics to keep us all quiet about the illegal Wars that Bush and Blair, the real gangsters, are using to rob the Weaker Countries. Its all a conspiracy do not believe anything that Tony Blair and George Bush and their Governments and Officials say they lie and play games with our minds keeping the citizens in fear so they can run their protection racket and keep us all enslaved in this system they call democracy.
Tony Blair and George Bush and their Governments and Officials and so called Intelligence LIE remember WMD. They kill innocent people and make criminals of us all while they rob the Natural resources of less powerful Countries. You don't see Blair and Bush going into China or Russia do you - they are both BULLIES of the highest order. They arrest innocent people all the time - many of the ones arrested today will be released without charge - its all HOLLYWOOD ie its an act a drama self produced by BUSH and BLAIR.

You could hide it in a comdom that could be swallowed and when the stomach acid has finished slowly disolving the comdom then the explosive will mix with the acid and BANG!
You could also burst it by a good punch to the belly.
I am going on a 26 hour flight next week and cannot take a book on the plane! I will go mad! Well moreso.

It is pretty easy to say that you stopped something that may or may not be about to happen sometime in the future and make political capital from that.
By parking my car tonight I have prevented myself from being involved in a traffic accident.
Make big news, get a huge imprint on the public mindset and there you go, instant bigotry and paranoia. The government have saved us again, let us allow them to do everything they can to fight this threat...that`s more freedom gone then.
To answer your question, sorry, I digressed, you could hide anything about your body. Forget poking things into orifices that are best used for other things, either as exquisite entrances or necessary exits. You could swallow a huge amount of explosives and have them detonated from just about anywhere.

That would bring a whole new meaning to lighting your farts!!!! To be serious Ive just been reading about it on yahoo news. I didn't realise all the stuff that could be used to make explosives, stuff like hair gel!! Then again if someone really wants to do something they will find a way. Shame really it would be lovely to live in a peaceful world.

Drug mules do it....that why some people get body cavity searches. Problem is you would have to have a bunch of them cause if you pre mix the chemicals...it could go off to early. And I think people would notice a bunch of people dropping thier pants and pulling tubes out of their bums.

Most modern airports have both metal and chemical detectors. Any liquid explosive would be detected. I wouldn't worry about explosives in an airport.

we discussed this a lot at work today. people swallow condoms to transport cocaine and other drugs. what is stopping any terrorist to swallow a condom of liquid explosives?
i take it you are as shocked by the last couple of hour's events as i am?
i am just so relieved that the attempts were foiled in time.

Yes, this just makes it harder, or pay off a baggage handler to hide something in the bathroom, or in a luggage bin.
