Ali - W 56 (KO's 35) TF 61 - W pct 92% - KO pct 72% - wins over Ellis, Norton, Bonavena and Chuvalo - KO'ed by Holmes - #3 ranked fighter
Great chin/will/heart/skill/speed and prowess

L.Lewis - W 41 (KO's32) TF 44 - W pct 93% - KO pct 73% - wins over McCall, Ruddock and Weaver - KO'ed by Raham and McCall - #33 ranked puncher - #53 ranked fighter

Any champ that gets KO'ed by fighters like McCall and Raham has no chance against "the Greatest". If Lewis disrespects Ali like Terrel did, Ali will beat him like the cops beat Rodney King.

Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali would win. Doesn't make a different. A younger Clay would whoop Lewis just like an old Ali. Lewis is overrated.

Ali would win just because he is superior in boxing skill and he could take a punch, like Benard Hopkins against Tito Trinidad. Lewis is a great boxer though and I think he wouldn't get knocked out. It would be a close fight with the score 95-93 unaimous decison for Ali

the Ali of 68-74 would have demolished the slower Lewis. In contrast, the 76 Ali would have been no match for the crunching jabs of Lennox and the always moving forward style....

Ali would destroy Lewis. Lewis's face would be swelled up like a balloon by the end of this fight. Ali in the 10th round.

Ali wins. Lennox Lewis was no better than guys like Earnie Shavers and Ron Lyle. He was champ during a weak time in the heavyweight division and still managed to lose his title twice to guys like Rahman and Oliver McCall. Ali fought and was champion during an era of great heavyweights like Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Shavers, Lyle, Jimmy Young.

Muhammad Ali had superior ring skills, a better jab, footwork and technique than Lewis and would win nearly every round in a decision win.

Ali is a true boxer and can put punhces together to get his knock outs - Lewis would not have been able to compete

No, I think Ali would win, even though Lennox is a very good boxer Ali is far better. He may be a harder puncher, but Ali would still outclass him.
