The Daily Telegraph has a Motoring supplement every Saturday, and this includes a column by 'Honest John' which deals with such matters.

I believe there is online access to the archives of this column.

Also, they publish a paperback 'Honest John's Motoring Yearbook' which lists recalls, problems, etc with most models on the UK market. There must be a new edition due, as the current one is the 2002-03 edition.

He lists numerous electrical problems with Renaults of all types.

You could check with the DVLA for recalls on this model - or your Renault dealer should tell you anything you need to know about this.

I am not sure that this may help you very much, but you may find the book a useful purchase!

Best wishes.

Nope - only probs with my Laguna is that it has been whacked twice in car parks (separate occasions).

If you have probs, take it to a service centre. Sadly only the Hyundai offers a 5 year warranty as standard (according to their TV ads)

Sounds like you need to replace the window motor. Each door has its own.
