my kitten is always bitting!

Yes, but it might not be teething that is causing the nibbling/biting.

I have two cats that are just over 1 year old, and they both still nibble on my fingers when they want attention or when they are trying to communicate something to me (like when they are hungry and out of food or when they shut themselves out of the room that contains the litter box)

Most of the time its because they want attention. When kittens are younger they may bite a little bit harder because they don't realize they are hurting you - they will learn how hard is too hard over time.

Just remember that it's a sign of affection from your kitty!

Kittens often have a strong mouth odor at the time they are teething. They may run a fever as well. This is a natural phenomenon. One can purchase a benzocaine-containing medication for teething infants and massage it on to the kittens sore loose teeth. Changes are, your kitten is either teething or playing around and this could turn into a bad habit. Check the teeth of your kitten to determine whether she is teething, or take her to a Vet.

Some kittens do suffer from teething, you should get the little guy some chew toys with catnip.

Sure do. Those sharp little fangs must ache and hurt as they grow out, wouldn't you think? Whenever I have a new kitty in our house, I give her something she can easily grab and hold onto while she bites the hell out of it. Better that then your hand or the furniture.
