No religion is the correct one, and all religions have got it wrong.
There are many major religions in the world, such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, and so on. Within each major religion there can also be many minor religions. For example, within Christianity there is Catholic, Protestant, Anglican and so on. Within Islam there is Shiite, Sunni etc.
In summary there are many hundreds of different religions in the world all with their devoted believers and followers. Talk to any devout religious person and they will almost emphatically insist that their religion is the right one, it’s fact, and any non-believer is doomed.
Commonsense and logic would suggest that if there was any truthful or factual basis to religion, then only one of these religions could be correct, not all of them. However, in my view, it’s highly unlikely that any of these man-made religions bear any resemblance to fact or the truth, and are more likely to be the result of simplistic human intelligence looking for an escape from reality.
The Bible is really just a fake story, perhaps a bit like the Loch Ness monster tales.
When we pass on information to another (example: story, joke, description of something etc) by the time these details are passed on by word of mouth, interpreted by others, and then written down, the final details are typically quite different than the original information.
Since the Bible is just a man-made story passed down over many years in various forms, the chance of it being accurate in any shape or form is remote.
There are people who swear blind that the Loch Ness monster exists regardless of all the evidence to the contrary, but a fence post bobbing up and down in the Loch does the trick. Similarly there are people who swear blind that God exists and the Bible is fact, yet there isn’t one blind bit of evidence to support such theories.
Biblical tales are really no different than Loch Ness monster tales, just the era is different.

Bible is compiled from many very old writings. Somebody here compared it with the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, but that is uneducated comparison. If you look at all the latest archaeological findings, you'll see that science today "reads" the Bible in entirely different way than before.
There are many similarities between the holy books, myths and legends around the world. And they all come from the time when those distant peoples supposedly weren't able to communicate.
I find it very interesting.
As for which religion is right, and which is wrong, I say, live and let live.

The Koran and the Bible oppose each other in doctrine. They both can not be right-one of them is clearly wrong. There is no question about the fact that they disagree.
The real problem is which one is right. You will ultimately have to answer that for yourself. Caution: a poor choice, will be bad for you.
Read the book "Islam Revealed" by Dr Annis Shorrosh. He was born in Palestine and raised a Muslim, but denounced Islam and became a Christian. He travels the world and teaches about the negative side of Islam (if he has not retired). He should know.

There are plenty of Bible "scholars" who say that this is in the
Bible, and that's not in the Bible. And when you try to go into the Bible, they won't even look at it.
Scripture says to have respect for the beliefs of others.
It is all false pride.
Have you ever seen two people talking about the same thing, but describing it with different words, and they were arguing about it?
That is religion in our world. We are all basically talking about the same thing, and arguing about it.
That is why Judeo/Christianity and Islam give us a way out. Someone to blame. Satan, (Shaitan, the adversary (arabic). Instead of hating on each other. At least that's how it's supposed to work!

Faith is about believing in something that is unknowable. None of the 'guidebooks' can prove that they are right, however, they need to call their religion the correct one so that people will put faith in it. If a religion were to say in its 'guidebook', 'we may not be the one true religion', they lose validity as a religion.

Christians believe Jesus is the only true savior because they have faith.
The Bible is the inspired word of God which is compiled of thousands of scriptures written by prophets who were inspired by the Holy Spirit and written eye witness accounts of the happenings in ancient the world pertaining to God, His prophesies, and His desires for his people.
There is much factual proof of many things in the Bible done through archaeological discoveries, and also predating of parchments and artifacts.
The best proof lies in the heart. If you have faith then God works in your heart to know the Truth as God wants you to see it. The Bible is a "guidebook" for Christians on what to believe in faith and how to live a good life so that we can go to heaven and be with God in the eternity. The Old Testament section of the Bible is actually the "guidebook" used by the ancient Jews and became part of the Christian Bible. You see Jesus came, not to banish the "Law" (ancient Jewish laws handed down through their "Bible), but rather he came to fulfill it. All of the ancient prophesies that talked about the coming of the promised Messiah(one who would save his people from their sins), were in fact fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. He came to suffer and die so that we may not suffer hell for our sins, but receive eternal life. When Jesus rose from the dead he insured our salvation if we accept it with our hearts and follow His commandments and repent when we sin. In other words the gates of heaven became open to us when Jesus ascended into heaven so we, too will ascend to be with Him.
To answer your question about if other religions are right or not,
they, too are taken in faith by their followers who are given their religion's "guidebook" to follow, I don't believe for a second that God wants anyone to go to hell. So even if the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ as we Christians believe to be true, just because you believe differently does not mean you will not be saved. This life on earth is the testing time to separate the sheep from the goats and the wheat from the chaff. That means that we are given the free will to choose God or not. If you choose Him, He will guide you and enlighten your heart to the truth. If you do not choose Him you risk losing your soul in the end.
But wait! There is Hope! God loves us so much that He will never give up on you. No matter what way you have chosen during your life or what you have done, even if it was a rejection of God's existence and teachings, He will give you a last chance to change your mind at the hour of your death because of His great Love and infinite Mercy toward all of His children. We are all His children, no matter which religion we follow.

Does it surely count what a guy wrote that have been given into the bible? interior the top, God wrote not one of the Bible, nor does He declare to have. it extremely is a guidance, supposedly by applying the coolest and in basic terms, on what they felt substitute into stunning or incorrect. interior the top, i will not be able to take someoen's observe approximately Heaven who wasn't there, and in the event that they have been nonetheless alive adequate to write down, then they weren't in Heaven. i've got achieved the finished death element and got here back. All these religions were formed to gain control of the masses. I don't need religion to tell me right from wrong. I can be a good person without a book that was written by some dude thousands of years ago in another language and has been translated a bazillion times and nobody has the original anymore.

I've read many, many, many, many religious books from God's Word to the Satanic bible. I've even read the Qur'an. But the only book that ever made sense, and withstood the lies and rumors against it (which are MANY, I must add) through history, resisted erradication, and made total sense to me was the Bible. All the other religious texts that I read only brought confusion because they didn't make sense in real life, and they had a bad tendancy to contradict themselves. Funny, that's what many people say about God's Word. But oddly enough, no one has ever been able to show any contradictions or fallacies. At least not to me...

It's just circular logic.
The next time that a christian tells you that Jesus is the only savior because the bible says so, take out a sheet of paper, and write:
"[Your Name] is the only true savior"
"Everything on this paper is 100% correct"
then hand them your "bible" and say, hey! cool logic! I just made myself god. See, this paper says that I'm the true savior, and the paper also says that it's correct. So according to christian logic, you're now a god.

Your right, there is no way to prove by earthly means that one is correct over the other. And there is not meant to be a way. I do not know what you believe but faith is considered of dire importance in my religion as well as almost all I can think of. Faith is belief without tangible proof. If you are truly confused and unsure what to believe in I would say take your questions unto the Lord. He who asketh shall recieveth. Faith and belief is not something that can truly be told through words or human ways. But like I said if you are unsure, learn all you can and take it before the Lord to find what is true. Good luck
