What in fact they will do is, make another seating section for midgets, with midget air hostesses to serve that section or a regular hostess who is skilled at crawling on her belly. Because midgets are smaller and do not fly very often their fare will be greatly reduced. Midgets using the airline will be offered a full bill of fare and an exclusive wine list catering especially for the midget pallet. Midgets under 2 feet will be offered free seat cushions.

I always thought they should eliminate it. Some people bring their entire house on the plane! Put some vending machines and use the profits to lower the airline ticket prices.

For the person who has always thought it should be eliminated...you are obviously not a frequent flyer who has had luggage lost time and time again or had items destroyed or worse...stolen...from their checked bags. Experience that and then wonder why people try to take as much as they can by carry-on.

they never will be able to dispense with all carry on..I worked for an airline for 31 years and travelled the world with just carryon..and Yes I could easily check that 1 small piece..what people can't check are medications, oxygen bottles, lotsa things that they really need. but in the interest of public safety I would fly naked if it came to that.
