I mean, with all of this destruction and Global Warming, I think so.

Why would you answer my question if you don't believe in him? That's pretty retarded.

2006-08-10 10:25:55 · update #1

Ok, even if there isn't a God, which I believe there is, if you believe in him, it's just a let down, But if there is one, then you go to Hell for not accepting him. So why not believe?

Sorry about the retarded remark. I actually know someone mentally retarded so I now know how wrong that was. I should have said, 'stupid'.

The Bible states that "this generation" will not pass away before Christ's return.

But which generation is "this" generation?

I personally believe that it is the generation of people either born, or alive at the time Isreal became an independant state again (1948-49)

Could I be wrong? Of course!

I think that he will return before the last person born from that generation dies.

We will see a one world government first, though, and many other things that the Bible says that MUST come to pass first.

You should hope that he tarries (waits) but live as if he were coming now!

yes, I do. I don't buy the global warming crap, as there isn't sufficient evidence for it yet (there might be eventually). Certainly a lot of weird things are going on, and the Muslim terror threat is another part of God's judgement on the earth. He will come back when the time is right, but the Rapture could be today or tomorrow.

I really don't think it will be more than a few months. . could be Jan or Feb. . or could be 15 years from now. . only God knows.

But we all need to be ready (as Larry Norman's song said, "I wish we'd all been ready")

People have been waiting for him for almost 2000, and they've all been wrong. Worry about improving the world instead of waiting for Jesus to destroy it! Put your energy to good use.

Furthermore, early Christianity was about waiting for Jesus to come back and take everyone off of the earth. They were even instructed not to get married and so forth. The New Testament needs to be read in the context that they thought Jesus was coming back now!

No, Jesus is dead. He's with Elvis now. It's just some religeous babble that the church created to scare us into being good and not sin. You know...just like when your a kid your mom would threaten you with....Ill tell your Father when he gets home, that was a sure fire way to keep you obedient. It's hard to believe a man thats been dead for centuries will return to life. You have a better chance of seeing The Virgin Mary. But that's just my opinion.

Yes.

We are witnessing the decline of the earth’s environment and resources, a prophetic fulfillment of the Bible.

At the Fourth SEAL, one-fourth part of the earth is to be destroyed before we move forward to the next Seal events (Re.6:7-8 below).

Once the one-fourth part is destroyed, we will move through the SEAL events, followed by the Seven TRUMPET events, and, finally, the Seven Last PLAGUE events.

When the world faces acts of terrorism are we not facing beasts of the earth (Re.6:8, Jude 1:10-11, Titus 1:12, 2 Pet.2:11-13 below)?

Re.6:7And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

Re.6:8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the FOURTH PART of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Beasts of the Earth

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain (1 Jn.3:12, Matt.13:38), and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Titus 1:12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

2 Pet 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

2 Pet.2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2 Pet.2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

I highly doubt it. Even if you believe Jesus is your savior ( Naturally, I do not ), those who supposedly live by his teachings have done a pretty damn good job of screwing up this planet. If I were Jesus, I would probably find a planet with a nice temperate climate and re-populate it, starting from scratch. May be this time, those who choose to follow Jesus will get it right..

i think the Scriptures teach us to always live with the mindset that he is coming back in our lifetime. i just know that every day that passes is one day closer to his Return so we should be about His work. The Bible teaches no one knows the hour or the day so i don't even speculate but like you i keep aware of world happenings and you can definitely see the infra-structure there for Christ's return...

Bless Ya,

No, Jesus died in human flesh and will not return. Also it is not proper to use a term retarded because it is an insult to the handicapped and a very cruel slang way to do it. :(

Yoda green, thats not true. Jesus has been PROVEN to have been a real dude, he also claimed to be the son of god and they actuly killed him for it. Weather thats all true or not, thats for you guys to decide, me, im undecided. I think that if hes the son of god great, if not, thtas great too. to be honest i dont care. But weather he was the son of god or not, he was a real dude. Although i dont think its been proven that when they rolled that boulder out of the way his body was gone. It MAY have happened, but its not proven. however jesus was real.

We are definitely in the end times but only God knows when the Second coming will be, That's why we are to be prepared by accepting Him as our Lord and Savior.
