When I was in high school we use to have rice with raisin sauce. It was really good but I can't seem to find a recipe for it. It was sweet and quite rich. Does anyone have a recipe? I have already tried all the food network and other places for a raisin sauce recipe and had no luck.

Raisin Sauce

Ingredients

(6 servings)

3 tb Dark Brown Sugar
1 tb Dijon Mustard
3 tb Red Wine Vinegar
1 c Basic Brown Sauce (See Sauces)
1/4 c Raisins, Plumped in 1 Cup Of Brandy for 10 minutes
And drained

Instructions

Sweet sauces with pork or game are classic. This one combines a little sweetness with the acidity of vinegar for a delightfully different taste. Serve it with that Easter ham for rave reviews. Prepare this sauce no more than two days in advance and refrigerate it. Rewarm over low heat before serving.
In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar and mustard in the vinegar. Place the mixture in a medium-size heavy saucepan, and add the brown sauce and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Stir in the raisins and simmer 5 minutes longer. Serve hot.
Yield: About 1 cup of sauce.

This one has no sauce!! So I guess you'll like it. Pasta 8 fish surimi bars, sliced 4 sweet onions 2 chopped tomatoes 3/4 cup of cut green beans (cooked) salt, pepper, oil Stir fry the onions, then the tomato until it changes color, add the green beans and the surimi, salt and pepper. After it's been stir fried all together add the pasta. You can substitute some of those veggies with others if you prefer / don't have the ones the recipe calls for.
