Yup: nothing more difficult to believe about random chance than the idea that some omnipotent super being poofed us into existence

The measurement and methods used to determine the processes are random and are measured by their frequency. However, the forces that guide evolution are deliberate. Nature is chaotic only to the human brain, it is not chaos however, it is very balanced and logical. It is fallacious to claim that all events are a result of random chance, events and their frequency is measured using statistics. Is there thought behind the events no, the events are a result of attempts to satisfy needs of organisms nothing more nothing less. Thus, it is not random as is far too often proposed.
I suppose that the confusion is a result of two basic things, the complexity and the abstractness. Both REQUIRE OBJECTIVE THOUGHT and consideration to fully comprehend and grasp; those that are incapable of or to intellectually lazy to devote the time, effort and thought will continue to believe whatever is the most easily comprehended.

If you say it makes more sense that a creator was guiding them, then you must also agree that the creator must have had an even greater creator guiding him. If you are going to use that logic you must take it to the next step as well and then the next.
You stop and say the creator never had a creator, he is eternal. How is that any more believable than saying "life's complexity evolved"? You're asking me to accept an even greater leap of faith by saying that the creator is eternal. Do you see my logic there?
If there is a universe with trillions upon trillions upon trillions upon trillions of stars and planets, and there are billions and billions and billions of years to try, eventually all the circumstances for life will be at the same place at the right time and life will come to be. This process will repeat again and again al long as the recipe is there.

It just makes more sense that an intellignet creator was guiding them along the way> comments>> YOU FIRED THAT SHOT RIGHT!! God
spoke and "BAM" there it was. Evolution is a lie from the devil trying
to place doubt on Gods WORD.Satin did Eve the same way "surely
God wont"he knew she would die he is a lier, murderer from the start.
Atheist have took his LIE hook line and sinker. They will find out soon
enough when they stand before the Great White Throne Judgment!
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Lord open their eyes before it is to late.Come QUICKLY LORD JESUS!!!!

It may be difficult to believe when you look at the complexity of the world that there isn't some sort of grand plan to it all. However everything that today is complicated was once very simple, as things have evolved over time to suit their environment.
When you look at all of the the flaws in nature, bad eyesight, DNA problems, the fact that the human brain is composed of three main sections one for each step in evolution ie reptilian, mammal and homo sapien and all of the species which have died out over the millenia it becomes clear that evolution rather than design is the only rational answer to why things are the way they are.

Yes and no. It's random chance that we are here but not that we are the humans we are today. Evolution is not random, your forgetting the natural selection part. The "chaos" of the big bang was random, life forming and becoming more complex was not. I find that much easier to believe than the idea of a supreme being suddenly creating us out of nowhere; that we popped into existence, and I'm not being sarcastic.
I think if the human eye were intelligently created then it would be "designed" much better. There are many animals that have much better sight than we do, not to mention so many things can go wrong with our site. The eye is much better explained by evolution than it is by intelligent design.

Certainly I do. Think about a lottery for a moment, with the odds of winning at about 1 in 939,838,160. Seems damned unlikely, doesn't it? Until I buy you 939,838,160 tickets. Then you simply MUST win. It' can't be avoided. The odds of life spontaneously forming are, so it is believed, even much higher than that. But how many chances did it have? The universe may well be infinite. That's an infinite number of places that could support life, and so an infinite number of chances for it to form. Making it not only likely to happen, but forcing it to happen. It MUST happen if it can.

I'm just going to humor you here. But let's just say all the well-tested scientific theories about the origins of the universe are too hard to believe.
Can you honestly sit there and tell us that a magical fairy creature creating the universe is more believable?
This is the problem with your argument, that is repeated every day by creationists. You say it's hard to believe that science is correct, because it seems unlikely that chance (which is infinite, btw) could create something. So like your caveman ancestors, you simply throw up your hands and say "Ooohh ooohhh it magic! That what it is! Magic do it!"
Does that make you understand why atheists scratch their heads listening to you people?

You seem to have a problem with the perceived low chance of these things happening. In fact the chances are a lot more than you think.
It is very difficult to put probabilities on these things but you have to remember that there are billions of stars, billions of planets and countless number of atoms on each planet.
Miller and Urey conducted an experiment were they created a simulation of primeval conditions on Earth after only a week they had a soup of organic compounds including seven types of amino acids. If this happens after only a week what can happen in billion years.
Oh and Bob 'spelt' is correct.

if you consider many of the inefficiencies and failures in the biology of humans (terminal diseases, inefficient hydration, failing organs, the variable rates at which the different body parts age, etc) or with the failures of the biology of other members of creation such as the Irish Elk or the Saber Tooth Tiger whose biology led to their species' demise (also intereprated by evolutionists as being unfit for survival) would all be good arguments for half-*** design, but I don't know about intelligent design. It could be plausible if God were a stoner. My question is, how OLD do you think the world is?

Evolution could easily be described as guided, it isn't random at all. I believe that life came from a natural event, not from a perfect man in the sky. Logically, what I believe is far more likely.
